Hi Siana, We do apologise you felt you had a bad experience here at Snap Beauty. Unfortunately, no salon you go to will be offering the same type of Russian lashes. There are lots of different lash brands, glues and styles used across the globe so unfortunately, no salon will be the same. There are ample pictures of our lashes on our Facebook, Instagram and website to give you a clear idea of the type of lash styles we offer. We do apologise that you were dissatisfied with the lashes we gave you. All of our girls here at Snap are trained to the highest level of qualification in lashes, we take special care and attention to aftercare to keep your natural lashes healthy. We do boast a fully booked clientele of lash clients that revisit every 2-3 weeks for a recommended infill. We unfortunately dont ever recommend a 6 weekly infill here at Snap, we feel that this can cause a strain on your natural lashes. We used what is referred to as 6D, length 13 lashes with a thickness of 0.7 handmade fans on your lashes, which is highly regarded as quite a thick and long lash in the industry. Were so sorry you felt they were not long enough, we felt this was the longest and safest lash length to carry out on your natural lash. We have compared them to what you had on previously, and they are the same length as your lashes you had left on. As you stated, you were offered a refund and removal of your lashes, we did only offer a removal as courtesy to you as you expressed your dislike to for the lashes we did, apologies for any confusion. We would have completed this quickly for you due to your disappointment. Please let us know if there is anything further we can do for you, if you would like to see photos of the lashes you had on, in comparison to the lashes we applied, please email us, we would be happy to send you them. Best Wishes, Snap Beauty

I had my "Russian" lashes done on Friday 6th July 2018 at Snap Beauty. I have been getting them done for 2 years now from Hannah at Hair Kutz next door. I get the same type of lashes done every 6 weeks. yes! that's how long they last for me however due to maternity leave from Hannah, I had to go elsewhere. I began going to another young lady in Thorpe Bay and she knew exactly what I usually have (Thick Russian) but unfortunately she then went on holiday. I decided to go to Snap Beauty as it being next door to my original salon I assumed she would be almost the same. I arrived and was called in quite quickly and never have I been to a salon and sat in silence for an hour and 20 minutes! Which I found was unprofessional. When my new lashes were finally finished (baring in mind I had almost 3 lashes left on each eye, due to the panic of leaving it till last minute and working 6 days a week! I spent my only day off (Friday) getting my lashes done. Once I saw the finishing product I noticed that they were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT!!! She had also left my original long thick lashes still in my eye so I looked like a complete doughnut! Anyway as i'm not one to complain I paid 30 and left. Once I got home I realised how awful they were and was so unhappy I got slightly upset, so I rang Snap Beauty up (after 6 times of calling because they never answer) and stated that I was unhappy. So spending my only day off work I drove back up to the salon and wasted the whole morning of my day sorting out something I was so unhappy about. Alix (I'm assuming her name is) stated that she would never put heavy lashes on someone that she thought shouldn't have them? At this point I was angry because she had chose what lashes I should have and not consulted with me about it. I said to Alix that this is obviously miss communication and as a business women she should have this conversation with me before gluing them to my face! She replied with "well I never have had a complaint in all the 5 years shes worked" and after my experience I thought surely not. At the end of the day I am paying 30 for lashes and apparently do not have a say with what ones I want, which I have been having for 2 years. Not only this I also noticed that they are very unsymmetrical and this is definitely not beauty work from someone that states they have been in the industry for 5 years. I was being understanding with Alix and said I understand she cares for eyelashes etc but It is not ok to pick what she thinks we should have. I have pretty much paid 30 for natural looking lashes and that is not what I wanted. (To the point where I came home and my family asked me where I had been and when I replied "got my lashes done" they laughed and said sorry I didn't notice?) Alix did offer me my money back but this was only on the consequences of sitting there for another hour to have all of them taken out. I'm sorry but in who's right mind would spend another hour of their day off getting them all taken out? not me! I think the customer service is awful! She does not work to help her customers with their needs. She is very monotone and rude and I will NEVER go back! She does not have the attitude of (customer is always right) To chose someones lashes for them without consulting with their advice first is SO WRONG! and to not do everything they can to protect their business to prevent me from writing a review is bad customer service. I wasn't going to write a review which is why I have left it until Sunday 8th July but unfortunately every time I look in the mirror I get more annoyed. For existing customers to Alix they are going to think I am lying but this is just my experience and the point of my review is to make sure new customers provide the customer service for Alix and make it VERY CLEAR with what they want and don't want because apparently Alix does whatever she wants.
