Daniel, to my knowledge you have never received a service at James Irving. If you have personal grievances, please keep them personal. Negative reviews made here, solely with the intent to injure, are irrelevant, irresponsible, and impact the livelihood of each person that works at our salon. I would strongly encourage you to reconsider your decision to post this review and remove it.

Vast majority of the reviews are not staff at James Irving. James Irving, renamed from a mediocre Winstons sold for cheap, a merger was done and quickly sold off for a profit. None of the staff from the salon Allen Ray Salon has transferred over and the rating is conflated and inaccurate. Half of the reviews should be deleted as they are from a salon which no longer exists. Elle, Solest, Tina, Jean, Holly, including myself have never worked here and do not represent this salon or their brand. I received a haircut here from Amanda Olusanya, the owner of the salon which merged these reviews. She purchased James Irving and flipped it for a quick profit. The staff is standoffish and rude. I would not recommend booking any service here.
Didn't listen well and ended up with a haircut I didn't like or want. Overpriced for something I could've done myself. Unfortunately not a good experience for me.
Normally I go to my barber but I wanted to try a salon as a barber is more experienced with shorter haircuts and not longer hairstyles typically. So, I ended up picking this salon as my first and to try something new out stylistically. I had wanted a curly messy fringe but came out of it looking like I lost a good bit of length with the inability to style my hair at all. I'm quite disappointed but I guess I can take solace in the fact that my hair will be back to normal in 6 months. The staff were super nice though, but not sure if it would be worth my time and money to take a chance again...
