My first time using Barn2Door was very smooth. The farm emailed me the day or so before my order was ready with a full invoice showing the final weight and fees. My second experience was terrible. I never received an additional invoice indicating the actual weight was more than estimated and a week later was charged for an order I already picked up from the farm. I will not be using this service again. If you have a set budget, then be very careful using this service.

Barn2door falls short in too many areas for the price they charge. The integrations are incomplete. You cant pull a report easily to understand how much a particular person purchased. You cant pull a report easily to understand how much of each product you sold. The MailChimp integration doesn't pull in the revenue correctly on deposit type orders. Its shows the deposit but loses the final payout so you cant see how much that customer spent. There are automatic emails that you don't have control over creating confusion between you and your customers. This is really a beginners platform for someone who has never had a website and is clueless on how to set one up. Its not for the profitable experienced farm business. Because B2D store is off site of your website you can not take advantage of facebook pixel and other marketing tools that help you drive more sales off less marketing dollars. I have been with B2D for almost a year now. Too many empty promises of fixing clunky issues and integrations that fall short. I'm shopping for a replacement platform. I wish I would have payed attention to the red flags when signing up. I wasted a ton of money setting this up to not be happy. I will be making a better decision next time. If it was $30 bucks a month I would probably deal with the issues but its almost $100 a month and they don't seem to have a plan to solve issues in a timely way.

While the Barn2Door team was working on a Squarespace site for your Farm, configured your email service with Mailchimp, and setup your Farm ecommerce store --- we recognize that you were too busy to complete setup (and chose to exit). You do own the URL for your Farm (GoDaddy), and we encourage you to re-configure your old website to your existing URL. Unfortunately, a website is not "portable" across different content-management-systems (CMS) --- that is the reality of any CMS. This company took my money and produced nothing. To top it off the company accessed another URL I own and deleted its contents without permission, and cant currently recover the data. Misleading and stealing from farmersvery disappointing.
