As a long time collector I visited this shop several times because they carry much of the same costume jewelry that I collect. While they had beautiful things, I found their prices to be much, much higher than I pay elsewhere and felt uncomfortable in the shop. The customer service felt very reluctant each time and not warm or welcoming.
We are deeply sorry you had an unexceptional experience with us on your second visit. You must have caught us on an off moment, as we strive to always give every individual the time and care they need. Our first visit was exceptional, having been greeted warmly and feeling at ease to browse and discuss our needs, so we left with a good feeling and a better understanding of what we wanted. A week later, thinking highly of the place, we returned with an intention to buy two rings, but were greeted by a different employee who rushed us and made us feel unwelcome. This was highly off-putting and they lost our sale.

I ran in here quickly a few hours before I got married on I just needed a hair comb for my half up do. The staff were soo fast and friendly. I got the sweetest hair comb from the 1960s it looked great in and was perfect for my wedding. Thank you folks for making my husband and I day special!!!

When I reached out to Paula to buy a special bday gift for my wife, I thought it needed to be custom. Paula came down to the store on her day off to assist. She listened intently and helped us pick a spectacular vintage ring that was a big winner with my wife. Paula's passion for vintage jewelry is wonderful even managed to suck in the interest of my two teen boys. Great shop, I'll be back for the next special piece!
Definitely not what I expected. My (now) fiancee came here first to look at rings. They were pretty dismissive, rude, and distracted while helping him. I came later to look at rings and felt rushed. I vaguely knew what I wanted, and this might have conveyed that I wasn't really going to buy anything, but I expected to be helped along in the process and I did not receive that treatment. I thought that picking out a ring would be an exciting process but I didn't feel very valued as a customer here. I think a lot of people come into this store because it is on Pearl Street and try rings on for kicks and giggles, and perhaps that is why they were so unhelpful, but it kinda came off as pretentious and rude. Luckily, I went down the street to Antoinette's, and now I have the perfect ring on my finger.
