I am very happy with my purchase of an iMac but after reading the previous reviews Apple needs to send all of the iCommand employees to customer service training. The older gentlemen was very rude, and short and referred me to the display card when I asked questions that were not listed on the card. He took 15 minutes to come over and didn't stay long and went back to helping other customers he felt were more important. He laughed very unprofessionally when I paid and I asked what the problem was and he said nothing.
While we appreciate the glowing review - we'd like to clarify that the original repair included a courtesy data transfer of your data to the replacement logic board (which IS NOT covered under your warranty - customer data is the sole responsibility of the customer and NOT Apple) at no additional charge. Your machine logs showed that the logic board was being overworked and, thus, overheating. While we were more than willing to look at your machine and get it repaired under repeat service at no charge, transferring your data back and forth to another one of your other machines while it's being worked on IS NOT COVERED under your Apple warranty and would incur a $100 charge. We have to be fair to the hundreds of customers we see each week (who normally don't get a free data transfer in the first place). We apologize that we couldn't make a second exception for you.

Brought my Mac Book pro here, told them my explicit problem of over heating. They did not test this and immediately assumed it was a logic board issue. Returned my device still broken and now want to charge me $100 just to bring it back though its under warranty! Btw The OWNER Handled this problem... ! Do not recommend! Their response is comical - clearly and further demonstrates the pettiness and lack of compassion for their customers. Though now im curious id love to know how much it cost to plug in a hard drive i purchased and click backup to external?
We appreciate the review Sarah! Although, we wish there was more we could do for your MacBook Pro :(

Very friendly and kind. Able to assess my waterlogged MacBook (which was DOA, unfortunately) quickly and made recommendations for a new purchase, although they are not doing sales right now. Will go back if I need service in the future, great local resource.
John and Nick have been our computer gurus since they opened their Apple sales and repair store in Williamsburg and we wouldn't take our business anywhere else. Those two are so accommodating and quick to answer questions. If you have problems with iPhones, iPads or Apple computers, they are the ones you want to do business with. Thank you John and Nick!!!
Hey Dinishia - we appreciate the suggestion. Unfortunately, we are usually still here well after hours trying to finish up existing iPhone display repairs and Mac repairs. Sometimes our same-day iPhone display calibration takes us past the 5:00 close time and rather than closing right at 5:00, we try to make it convenient for customers to swing by slightly after hours and pick up the completed repair. Per your suggestion, however, we are installing a doorbell so that the door can be locked at 5:00 and customers coming for pick-up only after hours can still get our employees attention. Thanks Dinishia!

Very rude customer service! They had the open sign lit up but when I walked in the guy at the counter told me they were closed. I asked if I could ask a question and he asked was it quick with an attitude. I said never mind and walked out. If an establishment is closed they lock the door and turn off the open sign! Not leave the door open and be rude to customers. Take your business else where and dont go here to iCommand!
