Jordan, we have no record of anyone with the first name or last name "Jordan" whom we have done two inspections for in our system. Unfortunately, most people don't even read their inspection reports and that seems to be the case here. As you stated above, the inspector told you there was not enough clearance to get to the electrical panel. Therefore, I can guarantee it is in your report. Share your full name or the house address and I can prove it to you. Now, about the heat pump.....furnaces (including heat pumps in heat mode ONLY) are tested no matter what temperature it is outside; air conditioners are not because severe damage can occur to the condenser coils. All of our reports state this. No only do we run the heat, but we take a picture of almost every register with a laser thermometer pointed at it to document heat mode is working properly. If sounds like maybe you are regretting your home purchase because you under-estimated what repairs would cost and we are sorry about that, but to go online and blast us ANONYMOUSLY without even a phone call to our office is just wrong. Me and wife were house shopping a few months ago and we were recommended WIN by many people and the reviews looked promising. When they looked at my first home, they did a fantastic job. Such a good job that we ended up passing on the first home because of the many issues and refusal of credits. So we once again hired them to look at the home we are currently living in. Mind you I do not regret buying our home and we were aware of the few things we were going to have to fix which was no problem. But after receiving our newest inspection and purchasing the home things began to go wrong. Which, yes of course they cannot promise that something wont break after you purchase the home, thats life. The inspector told us that he cannot reach the breaker box to fully inspect it. It was blocked in by the water heater and the furnace. After we hired an electrician to figure out what to do about this, the electrician was incredibly shocked that he did not write this off as an electrical violation considering thats what it was. The electrician said that a credit shouldve been immediately received or something worked out between buyer and seller. So basically we bought a home with a huge electrical violation that couldve been avoided if the inspector had properly assessed which anyone could see something was very wrong. When also inspecting the house they stated they cannot inspect the heat since it was above 60 degrees that day. Fair enough. So when our heat pump went out I was surprised to learn from three different heating and cooling specialists that the heat pump should be able to be tested at all times considering its also an air conditioner unit. He simply turned on the air and heard the furnace going instead of going to actually check the heat pump or the fact it was blowing out air at all and called it good. Not to mention the countless other things, such as the rotting wood beneath the deck that was so clearly an eyesore and he claimed he inspected the deck and noticed nothing out of order. So would I recommend WIN? Nah, absolutely not. Not after the pure laziness and neglectful actions that caused us to be out thousands of dollars for things we could have received credits for or worked out with our sellers.

So many things missed during our inspection that we are now having to deal with. If he would have taken more than 5 minutes doing the inspection he would have notated about 50 more things to be fixed which would have deterred us from the property or had the sellers fix it.
