We called at 4:30pm and made it clear it was an emergency (air conditioner wasn't working, heat advisory over 100 degrees) and they PROMISED they would send someone that evening "after 5pm." THEY DID NOT CALL AND DID NOT SHOW UP. When we called the emergency number at 8:45pm to see when they were going to arrive, their "voicemail was full." They had both my husband's and my phone number, we had our phones with us the entire time, and we were waiting in the room by the front door. THEY DID NOT CALL AND DID NOT SHOW UP. The woman on the phone even stated it would be an additional fee for coming after 5pm and my husband said that was fine, it was an emergency, and she assured him it would be THAT EVENING. There was no misunderstanding.
I am a local small business gym owner that has hired Lunsford to do repairs and to get the A/C at my new location up and running. When they came out it was ok. They sent a young man out and he did good but,I could tell he wasnt experienced in the commercial side of A/C units on the top of commercial properties. He got them both up and running after repairs where needed and I was happy about that. I also asked Lunsford to replace the A/C vents in my building so more air could flow out of the vents instead of the old ones. That was the beginning of the end with my relationship with them. They ordered the wrong vents and never measured the size of the duct that go into the vent. So they call the owner Tim and he told the tech he will get them over nighted. Well that wasnt the case at all. My vents didnt show up until a week and a half later. So about a week ago the A/C in the back was sounding weird and I called them up to come look at it. Well, the tech came out and installed a new thermostat, said the mother board was shot and the fan belt was loose and needed a new one. So I went to the office to talk to Dave about how much the mother board cost and he said $1,200. I felt like I needed a second opinion so I called out Blackwell and they diagnosed the problem and found out it was the thermostat wire that needed to be replaced because it was spliced. Plus, Lunsford wanted to charge me for another belt but in reality the belt was loose because they didnt tighten it . They also charged me $580 for the thermostat that they replaced and never told me the cost so I could have made the decision to replace such thermostat. I dont recommend Lunsford for A/C repair because the staff at the front desk dont have the knowledge and Mr Dave that works at the front is over whelmed with everything going on and things are being missed and definitely failure to communicate with the customers. I have spent about 6,000+dollars with them and I am NOT happy with their performance at all. I will never recommend them nor do business with again. Their office needs to function efficiently and not this approach of lack of communication, making promises they cant fulfill, lack of knowledge, charging for items after installation without verification from the client in addition to over charging.
Wade and Alex came out today and installed a new heat pump unit at my home. They arrived on time. Very professional explained everything I needed to know about the new unit and thermostat including the reme Halo system. Updated me throughout the day and cleaned up thoroughly after the install. I would highly recommend Lunsford air conditioning and Heat.
air went out called said it would be a few hours but 43 minutes later Fisher was here nice and friendly really informative had the air up and running in about 10 minutes first time using but will use from now on. once again Fisher thank you very much.
