I wish I could give this place 5 stars. Their pineapple buns are hit-and-miss, the taste is never the same. If I order their buns in the morning/ lunch time, their buns are good, not too sweet, warm and fresh. But if I ordered after lunch time, gosh, the buns are way too sweet, that I have to drink a giant cup of black coffee (no sugar), just to wipe out the overwhelmed sweetness. The egg tarts, same thing, sometimes are good, sometimes are so bland/ tasteless and stale. Anyway, their Savory buns are My Favorite at all time. I like their texture and flavor, not overwhelming. Overall, it would be great if the owner can keep the products staying consistently.

Overpriced and overrated. The pineapple buns are not anywhere near the original pineapple buns they are imitating from hk. The butter to bread ratio are sloppy. The filling versions are nothing to write home about. Most of them are just sweet and more sweet. Milk tea is supposed to be the twin partner of the pineapple bun. However the tea are also made to hastly and the milk to tea ratio is inconsistent at best. Definitely not worth the wait. I would not bother with it.

CASH ONLY! If you decide to wait in line and order at the store, then prepare cash. Or you can scan the barcode they listed and order for pickup with a credit card. Great pineapple buns, with or without fillings! And all types of fillings - cream, butter, chocolate marshmallow...only problem is the butter will melt if you don't eat right away. So don't be greedy like me, getting the variety pack of 4, and having to stuff myself with 2 right away while letting the other two butter melt on the way home. I asked if they can separate the butter and they said no. I went on a Friday afternoon around 4pm, there was a line of 2 people. So time yourself about the wait.

This place alwaaaaays has a line! My sister is crazy about these so I always get her some pineapple buns yet I've actually never tried them myself until recently (I rather have something savory...like a 8 course meal or something haha). Anyway, I got the guava butter one and it was pretty tasty! The bun is hot and fresh so it melts the butter too. It looks super crusty on the outside and I always wondered if the buns were dry and dense inside. Nope! The pineapple bun was super buttery and soft inside - a lovely surprise indeed. Overall, they got some tasty buns! Order ahead and pick up if you don't want to wait in a long line! :)
