Quoted one price for to program 2 key fobs. One key fob was damaged, instead of asking me if I wanted them to continue to work on it they charged me another hour. For the price they charged me could have gotten a new key fob. Not happy with their service at all!!
Hey Amanda! Sorry you had a bad experience with the vehicle. I sent you an email to clarify but BMW requires all of their M performance vehicles to be serviced before 1,200 miles at NO CHARGE. This is not a New Motors requirement but a maintenance requirement by BMW on the M performance vehicles.

Sold me a 2020 M5 that was apparently only used as a showroom car and driven by the owner of New Motors. Was told this was the reason for the price drop on such an expensive car. This particular vehicle ended up having so many mechanical issues before reaching 3,000 miles that the dealership nearby my house in NY refused to put any more labor and parts into it and worked with BMW to get me a replacement. BMW (the company themselves NOT NEW MOTORS) obliged and replaced it with a completely new vehicle which was a year newer and included more perks which I am entirely grateful to them for. However, given that I bought it with 900 miles put on it by the dealership itself and they demanded I get my first break in service at their facility despite me living in another state, one can safely assume that they were aware of any issues regarding this car prior to sale and proceeded to sell it anyways. Leaving another dealership and BMW as a company to clean up their mess.
I had such an easy sales experience and it made buying my first car such an enjoyable experience. Robby Quinn was so accommodating and friendly. I don't know much about cars and all of my friends told me horror stories about buying cars, but I had such a great experience with New Motors and Robby that I definitely would recommend them.
This is our second car purchased from New Motors and our first BMW the other being a Subaru. My wife and I worked with Robby Quinn and could not be happier with the entire process of acquiring our new X7. He was courteous, straight forward, and a delight to deal with answering any questions we had about the X7. Misdiagnosed my BMW i8 almost leading to thousands of dollars in repairs. The gentleman working the service counter was so adamant about charging me $160.00 for a diagnosis I felt as if he wasnt listening to my issues. I asked repeatedly if they didnt feel confident in working on the vehicle Ill take it to Pittsburgh. They insisted they knew what they were doing and came up with the most ridiculous thing Ive ever heard of. Hybrid battery is shot at 5,000Miles I immediately picked up my car and took it to Pittsburgh where the issue was found in about 15mins and covered under warranty. I will never use New Motors again. Im sure they are good for youre naturally aspirated vehicles. But when it comes to Edrive technology this dealer isnt education therefor I believe they shouldnt be listed as an edrive BMW service center. An experience like this can be very scary for someone please always get a second opinion folks as it could save you thousands.
