I sent in an inquiry on a bath remodel and had a timely response. The thing that was weird to me is without seeing the size of my bath, without asking any questions about my bath besides is it a shower, tub/shower combo and the number of vanities, the rep instantly quoted $40,000 saying thats the starting cost for an average size bathroom. I was expecting a time set up for someone to come out and survey the bathroom to get a better quote. Whats an average size for a bath? Seems like they dont need the business. If theyre not even willing to come survey and look at the project site, the job quality may be the same.

We bought our 1984 Parade of Homes house in 1986. In 2016 our master bath and dressing area still had the same wallpaper, tile and fixtures from 1984. We called Barb and Jolynn at Crystal Kitchen and Bath who helped us refresh our 1984 kitchen in 2014 to help us with the master bath and dressing area remodel We wanted to stay within the existing footprint but wanted a new sink, tub, toilet, new tile, Cambria tops and paint rather than wallpaper. Barb who helped us with our kitchen provided the design and Jolynn provided and managed the project plan. All the craftsmen, e.g. plumber, tile person, sheet rock person, electrician, carpenter, painters and Bruce were professional and ensured everything was done to our satisfaction. Jolynn and Barb stayed on top of the project and checked in often ro ensure everything was coming along as planned. When you work with Crystal Kitchen and Bath you know what to expect. Everything is in writing so there are no surprises. The area is move in ready after the remodel. I like that I'm working with a licensed woman owned business who hires licensed professionals. Our master bathroom and dressing area looks great.

We were looking for a company who could help us with a complete master bath remodel, as our travertine floor tile was cracking in several places resulting in a slow leak creating stains on our first floor ceiling, so we decided it was the right time for a complete update. The entire team at CKB, including Jolynn, Kaitlin and Lisa, together with each of their subcontractor teams, did a great job with our design, demo, construction and cleanup, keeping us timely informed and doing high quality work every step of the way! During the demo, we discovered the entire wood subfloor beneath the shower had rotted through due to improper construction when our house was built 14 years earlier, which was the source of the tile cracking and leak. They were able to repair the subfloor for only a modest increase to the final project cost, and still able complete the job close to the originally estimated schedule. There were a few other more minor items that had to be redone during the job but again, CKB made things right for us at no additional cost for the items needing additional attention. They werent happy until we were completely satisfied. We would definitely recommend choosing CKB for your remodel. The may not be the least expensive option, but the quality of their work, timeliness in all communications and focus on getting things done the way we expected was completely worth it to us. You wont be disappointed with the end result!

After looking at many possibilities for new construction and existing homes but not finding an exact fit, we decided to stay in our home of 25 years and remodel the kitchen and family room. Through a referral from a friend, we visited Crystal Kitchen and Bath. It was great to see so many room ideas displayed in their showroom. Another valuable way to get to know the quality of the company was to attend Crystal Kitchens seminar on the remodel process and what to expect in a quality contractor. We have been satisfied throughout the whole process: * Working with Mary, the designer, on the vision, the style, and then the plan; helping us all along the way with the selections * The scope of the project was well defined and written out so everyone knew what to expect, including allowing us to organize specific projects ourselves * The work schedule was provided at the outset of the project and each subcontractor showed up on time and finished the work on time * Our project manager, Lisa, was very responsive to questions along the way and kept us up to date with details as they arose * The sub contractors were professional and well trained in their craft; they were a pleasure to have in our home * Jolynn and Mary came on site regularly and made additional trips when further clarification was needed * The final punch list was attended to by Jolynn to make sure everything was completed The quality of the cabinets and materials and workmanship are top notch. They transformed our kitchen and family room into a beautiful new space where we will be happy to spend time with family and friends. Thank you for making the process easy to live through and making the new space a joy to live in every day.
