I have decided to make a review after 1 and half year about my super sad and failed Japanese straightening, as you can see my ends are super dead still and unable to recover. My stylist was a Korean lady (the older one), she only asked what kind of straightening I want, and did not ask about my hair history. My hair condition was great as I did not do anything at it for 5 years apart from trimming the ends off. During the process of flat iron straightening I saw the lady had some problems with my hair and she has asked other people for help, however she did not let me know what happened. In the end she only told my that my ends are dry and would like to trim about 20cm of my hair off. I have no trust with this lady anymore, just wish to leave the salon. After that I have realised that half of my hair were badly damaged, and I have went to other salon instead. The stylist told me that the lady had damaged my hair really bad and the only way is to cut them off, and he taught me that if the stylist damaged my hair this much, I could ask her for hair treatments for a while. Yet I will never go back to Jubilee and will not recommend any of my friends to be there. 400 hair straightening not worth it.

I had my hair cut over the weekend by the Director, costing 90. I asked for 3 specific things: 1. A trim 2. A few layers at the front only 3. Thin the back a little bit The hair dresser then proceeded to cut about 10cm off my hair, layered not only the front but the back (which I only realized when I got home and now it looks like I have a mullet) and also thinned my hair quite significantly even after I stopped him. I explained that if my hair is thinned too much, its hard to manage after washing it as it gets frizzy. He told me he was only thinning it a bit and continued to thin out the rest of my hair. To say Im unhappy is an understatement especially given how much I paid. I now have to wait until the layers at the back of my hair grows back so I can cut it to one length. Extremely disappointed and will not refer any friends or ever go back.

Kumhee cut my hair beautifully and really quickly as well. When I asked her for advice on a low-maintenance short hair, she explained what she would do accurately and proceeded promptly. She also gave me advice how to care for my hair at the end. I was really satisfied with the look she gave me. One of the best haircuts i've ever had.
