When I visited the store I was so pleased with the customer service, so I chose the Blindsman. Unfortunately, after installation I am not pleased. The blinds gap at the bottom when closed, makes me wonder if the measuring was correct. The day of installation the gentleman was in a hurry and he pulled apart my blinds at the bottom to try and make them fit right. I had the owner out to see the situation, he said he would be back to re-glue or tape them back together. Never heard from them again. I paid a lot of money for new blinds that were torn apart. I had to put them back together myself. Update....thank you for responding to my review. I appreciate that you addressed my issues and resolved them the best you could. Thank you for making things right.

Mr. McClure, It has been brought to my attention that we did not meet your expectations while in our store last week. Our sales staff tried to assist you in finding a replacement part for a shade. I am sorry the manufacturer was unable to furnish the part. Additionally, we priced a large 72 1/2" x 86" faux wood blind. You found our price too high and you bought a similar product elsewhere at a lower price. I researched the product my staff showed you and it was priced fairly. I don't believe the blind you bought was the same quality. The $100 you paid elsewhere was way below our cost for the blind we quoted. The Blinds Man sells top-quality custom blinds, the installation was included and we guarantee customer satisfaction. I am sorry we did not have a blind at the price point you were looking for.

Zack, we apologize for the confusion. Our earlier appointment ran late, so we called you, apologized and made sure it will still alright to come out. We always try to leave plenty of time in between our appointments, but that was a rare case, and for that we are truly sorry. If you didn't want to have us come out because of the scheduling issue, we would've completely understood. However, since you said it was alright and still asked us to come out, we did bill you for our time. We are a small business and billing for our time is how we support ourselves and our staff. We are confused as to what you mean by verbally accosted... Our designer simply explained that she could either leave, or stay, complete the appointment and bill the $75 fee. At that point, you stood up, blocked the door and began screaming at her.

Horrible customer service. The lady I had scheduled a consultation with was 40 minutes late and still wanted to charge me the $75 fee. I told her I was uncomfortable with that, since she was unconcerned with my personal time....I was then verbally accosted by her for "trying to get a price cut". I told her to get out of my house and I no longer wanted to do business with this company, as she continued to raise her voice at me. Definitely do not recommend The Blinds Man, based on how they conduct business and how unprofessional the designers are. If I could've done 0 stars I would have!
