This store would not honor the lifetime Craftsman tool warranty. I brought a ratchet wrench in for replacement and was told they will not replace it and I needed to go online and fill out some kind of request there . Huh? This is absurd and absolutely in conflict with the Craftsman Tools website. I quote directly from the Craftsman website: "Full Lifetime Warranty- If the product fails to perform for any reason, we will replace it...No proof of purchase required. Return damaged product to a stocking Retail Partner." So, I took the ratchet down the street to Lowes and they replaced it instantly, no questions asked, no runaround BS. My advice- avoid this Ace store. They lied to me, and did not honor the warranty they are bound to as a Craftsman Retail Partner. Who knows what other shady practices this store adheres to! IN RESPONSE TO STORE OWNER COMMENT BELOW: Does this mean the store will now honor the Craftsman Tool warranty? I'll stop in soon with another tool and see what happens. Thanks

I wanted to replace hardware on drawers in a bathroom. The screws for the old knobs were stuck in the drawers and I could not get them out. I went into the Deerfield Ace with the drawer fronts and the new knobs. Robert took the time to remove the screws that were stuck and then took the time to find the right size screws I needed for the new knobs. I ended up having a key made while I was in the store. It was so much easier than having it done at a big box store and the customer service made it a great experience.

Exceptional service by Frank at the Deerfield Ace location assisted with a screw dilemma and also re-tooled the receiver bolts spending at least an hour with more patients than I. Do not miss the opportunity to differentiate between Home Depot and an actual hardware store

I'm always quick to praise good service and I also share bad service. As a business owner, I want all feedback and assume most do. I decided to purchase a grill from Ace Hardware in Deerfield Beach, right across from my office! A Weber grill and cover, $1500. As always, I purchased it online for convenience. And thought Ace was the place for a nice X-mas gift. I went to Ace.com, I "ADDED TO CART" cart with cover, etc, paid for the entire thing with credit card online, got confirmation for the order and it was "ready for pickup". I was in my way to pick it up when I called and they told me and I quote "somebody beat you to it". (Stacy) and we have no more left anywhere. "I can leave your order in the system and if he doesn't pay, you can have it". Really? Shortly after that, I get an email that it is "ready for pickup"! (attached) What in the heck is going on here? This is 2021! No way to run any type of business and treat customers. Ace is not the place for me. I will go back to HD, where they treat me like a valued customer.
