Hi Nicola, we are very sorry that you were dissatisfied with your visit to our salon but find your review to be rather misleading. You state that you have given us multiple opportunities to rectify the issue and yet you never responded to the voicemail that was left weeks ago, nor have you answered the phone on the 3 additional occasions that we have attempted to reach you. We pride ourselves on our customer service and will always do our best to make things right but that requires people return our calls. With regards to the finish of your hair, you were given a full and comprehensive consultation at the start. During this, your stylist explained the do's and don'ts and advised what the result would be. Despite the opportunity to let her know, you failed to disclose that you alrdady had an organic dye on your hair until well into the process - at which point, it was too late. It was made very clear at the start that any previous colour on your hair would make it difficult to achieve the desired result but the fact that it was an organic colour made matters worse. To get a consistent colour would have required a full colour removal prior to applying the new colour. The stylist did the best she could given the situation and we can only apologise that you are not happy with the result. We are still happy to discuss this with you and find a way to make it right. If you would like to take us up on the offer, please call the salon. Should you decide to go somewhere else, we advise that you fully disclose from the start what is on your hair so that they know what they are working with. Hopefully this will avoid any further disappointmenton your part. Kind regards Zac & co

I had a really bad experience with this salon. They gave me wrong information and misled me into going through with a service which then went wrong and I had to pay extra to fix. My hair is now multiple colours down the hair strand, a result I had specifically emphasized many times that I wanted to avoid. I think the worst part is that I have given them multiple opportunities to rectify this over the last month, or at least acknowledge me as a customer who paid money and is not satisfied, but they have completely ignored all of my emails. I am now going to have to pay a proper salon to fix my hair. I recommend against going to this salon. Updated: I sent four emails (28 Dec, 5 Jan, 12 Jan, 19 Jan) over the course of four weeks politely asking the salon to either fix my hair or refund me, which I was advised was appropriate action under the consumer rights act 2015. No response to those emails even though it has now been acknowledged that all of them were received. They apparently left me a voicemail - I don't get notifications of voicemails or even know how to listen to them, then when I left this review they called me a few times in a short space of time when I had childcare duties. I had a consultation prior to the appointment, which I made a point of attending, and the advice I was given was that the results would be 'more blonde than I think'. Saying this was incredibly misguided and misleading! There were no 'dos and donts' mentioned - only positive affirmations. I even suggested we do a strand test and the stylist said there was no time! It transpired during the appointment that I had previously had an organic colour on my hair. Surely the stylist should have asked me what colours had previously been on my hair? As someone who is not a hair expert, I don't feel it is on me to know to flag that. Surely the 'professionals' should have covered that base? Had I been given the correct advice, I would not have gone through with the appointment.
