Wish I had a better experience with this law firm. I called and was given the option for a 15 min free consultation with Conti. I was not informed of the other options to have a longer session. I'm not really familiar with the legal process. Once the time came for my appointment Conti had a very cold feel to her, very insensitive which I thought was odd for a family law lawyer. Very rushed and I felt like an inconvenience. She stated that I should have booked a longer consultation when I still had time remaining on my current appointment but I was not given the option initially or I would have done so. I took them on as a Lawyer due to me thinking that maybe she was the tough cookie I needed to be on the case and to not allow my initial feelings to dictate the best lawyer to get the job done plus the reviews were good! Moving forward, I called the following Monday to check my status to see what the next step would be and I was then told that they could not take my case due to Conflict of Interest. This check was supposed to be done prior but there seemed to be a system flaw. I was told that Conti would call me in 10-15 minutes to go over the reasoning but I never received a call as of yet. The receptionist was amazing yet it still puts me in a bad situation because now I have to wait for the $4500 to hit my account from the refund which could take 5-7 days which puts me in a pickle to pay my next retainer for a new Lawyer. I had to get another consultation from another lawyer which I had to pull an additional $300.00 from my account. This could be a very serious concern for someone who will not have the financial means to pay for another retainer whilst awaiting for a 5-7 day refund. Not to mention that I only have 20 calendar days to respond back to the order. She may be a great person to represent you, I just wanted to share my experience in hopes that this does not happen to another person!

I have never written a review before but I feel so compelled to do so regarding lawyer Conti Moore. I am dissatisfied, disappointed and angry regarding my experience with this firm.. I did extensive research for a lawyer that would meet the needs and qualifications regarding my situation. I called the firm to schedule an appointment and was sent a link to Ms. Moore's calendar. I chose a time on her calendar that led to a form outlining my needs. When I called at the scheduled appointment time, I was answered by her assistant. She then informed me that the form was not filled out correctly. I asked her why she did call me back to inform me that my form was filled out incorrectly. I questioned her as to what was incorrect. My form stated that my needs were regarding our daughter, possible CPS involvement and hacking by my son-in-law. They are currently separated. On top of this she informed that Ms. Moore does not handle CPS cases at this time. According to my research Ms. Moore's law firm states that the firm handles 40% family law and 30% criminal law. The assistant then stated that Ms. Moore is not currently handling CPS cases which are part of family law. She also then stated that there would have to be a confirmation regarding conflict of interest with my son- in- law. If this is how her firm handles a situation from the onset, then WHAT CAN YOU EXPECT LATER? I highly recommend not using this firm.

I hired them because someone recommended them. I also looked at their good reviews and that made me feel more comfortable. They were very disorganized and made it very hard for me to understand the divorce legal process. They would take weeks to respond to any email or calls. They made many mistakes when filing my petition. Some items where not filed at all and I was charged for things they never did. I was provided the ledger showing what they charge me and those things were not done. My case was assigned to Amina Ellison, who was very inexperience. Their entire staff was always rude and communicated in a condescending manner. I requested copies of all my files because I was hiring a new counsel. When I came to their office to pick it up I was given other clients files that included their personal information. Upon reviewing the paperwork and realizing what they had done, I notified them and returned the files to them. I am not surprised by the other person who said her information was stolen by a member of the Conti Moore Law firm. They are disorganized and do not safeguard their clients personal property. Do yourself a favor and interview other lawyers. They are not worth your time, and your money. Once I hired a new lawyer, I realized how incompetent the staff at Conti Moor Law firm is. If anyone is interested in reviewing proof for the above mentioned I am happy to provide copies of the email exchanges that I have with relations with my experience. This situation did happen and it is sad that the firm would not take accountability and use this experience to better their practices.
