The person who cut my hair did not in any way respect my request for my haircut. I have a hard time not being angry about the haircut I received yesterday after I explicitly told my hairdresser that 1. I did not want my hair cut short. 2. I explicitly showed them a picture of what I wanted. 3. They did not tell me from the beginning what that they were going to fade my hair. Regardless, even after all of that, they still gave me a fade. It's not that it looks bad, it just is not what I wanted. It doesnt fit my headshape, or my personality. At all. I told them that. I made it explicitly clear multiple times. Not even just during this visit, during my previous visit as well. The picture I showed the stylist did not have a fade. So what gives? I have deep rooted trauma with having my hair cut short. I know that sounds over dramatic, but I really do. Now I am forced to either wear a beanie and suffocate my already falling out hair, or say screw it and shave it all off. I am very disappointed that I was not listened to, and my one simple request of not cutting my hair super short was not honored or respected. I have been a regular with this establishment for about 3 years now. The service has always been great, the people have always been nice, and I've never run into any issues until yesterday. I always tip because I know that the people there are good people. That being said, I have a really hard time looking at myself in the mirror now, and it's entirely their fault.

Made an appointment online for 11:30. Got there at 11:20. Doors were locked. people inside did not open them or acknowledge I was standing out there at all. Stood there for a couple minutes and left.
