Hi! Actually it is the barbers and stylists who implemented and enforce the no show policy. They were tired of people not respecting their time. The front desk checks with the staff before running no show fees. Again, we think it is important that they are compensated for their time and there are many notices sent out for reminders both with text and emails. And while clients are very important my staff is the life blood. Its their call and I default to them on all matters that concern their time. Feel free to come back and talk to Gwen about this. I dont write this to bash the quality of the haircuts here as the person who handles my hair is great. What I can say is Im pretty disappointed in what transpired today after coming here for the past 3-4 years as a regular. I tend to book multiple appointments months out and had 10:45 in my calendar as that is one of my normal times for scheduling. Turns out the appointment was at 10am and when I walk in, I get fully charged with no emotion from staff or a credit for my next haircut as a 1 time mess up in many years. Message to the owner(s), please learn to take care of your regulars, as they are the lifeblood of your business. Also , have someone call at start of appointment as I couldve been there within 5 minutes
I needed my 6 month beard cut into a shape that worked for me. I brought ideas and pics of examples into my appointment and Jester got it done right in a most professional and cordial manner. I highly recommend!
Sorry about that. Jester didnt have covid he had food poisoning, just to be clear. And it seemed to have not been cancelled in our system so you were inadvertently charged as a no show. I can refund or add points to the account. I appreciate your understanding of the mix up and hope in the future you would reach out to us personally before heading straight to online reviews. Times are tricky for everyone and we could all have and be a little more grace. As explained below our cancellation policy is necessary because of the lost revenue it takes from the stylists. Fine shop, bit over priced but cancellation policy is kinda ridiculous. I had an appointment scheduled that they moved day of less then an hour before and informed me the hairstylist had covid. I appreciated the call and totally understood. Fast forward to my last appointment, I get called the day before for conformation I explain to them I have covid as to cancel appointment. They dont and I have a charge for 46 dollars. I get its the holidays and Id be happy to pay a tip directly to the staff that canceled on but to charge me after I wanted to cancel was pretty crazy.
