I have nothing but positive things to say about Junya as a person, but as a hair stylist? I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy to get their hair cut from here. I had hair all the way down to my waist and asked to get 2-2.5 inches cut. Junya cut almost 5-6, which according to him was "because I wanted layers." Uh no... Even if I wanted layers, the longest piece should have still been only 2 inches--2.5 inches at most--shorter. I ended up paying $95 for the haircut with tip, but ended up having to go to another salon to fix the shoddy work Junya did. If it was just the length, I would have been whatever, but the haircut itself was horrible. So messy and made my hair look even frizzier than ever. Do not recommend. I'm confused how this salon has so many positive reviews...

I love YAMA hair salon. I got a haircut from Tomoka san and it is gorgeous! I asked to have my hair layered and she perfectly understood what i wanted. Even though i accidentally found out this salon, i now fell in love with this amazing place. I would definitely recommend YAMA if u want a charming hair!!!!
