Hi Kameryn. Thank you for bringing your sister in. Its not common place to get a third party review so please read this response to your sister. It is unfortunate that this happened to your sisters piercing but this review is a bit of a fallacy. Swelling. Swelling is what can, on occasion, cause something like this to happen. Information of this happening is also available on Google. It is difficult to anticipate how much someone is going to swell. The jewelry is provided with adequate length to allow for some swelling to happen. At times, some swelling happens above the average rate. Generally when this happens, the client contacts the shop or the piercer directly, rather than google, to address this issue. Had your sister done this, this matter could have been very easily addressed and remedied. All of our contact information is available on Google. In the future, please, before a review like this, contact the one who provided the service so you, or who youre representing, can get the appropriate feedback and alleviate whatever the complaint might be. Incorrect information in a review such as this can also negatively impact others not in any way involved in the situation.

I got my little sisters piercing done here and all was fine. Well a few days after, the piercing ended up inside her nose? I have my own piercing and when I did it, nothing like this happened. We did some googling and turns out if the piercer didnt do it right, this happens. I wouldnt trust the piercer again. On the upside, they were very nice. But the piercing is literally inside her nose. Update: went to another piercer and had gotten it fixed. Thankfully, nothing got infected.

Hi Priya. Thanks for coming by for our Friday 13th event and thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I think though, that your time would have been better spent contacting us to have the ball put back on the jewelry. Sometimes, regardless of it being tightened by the piercer, the ball can come off and it can be remedied in the matter of seconds. I would like to take a few moments to also address your other mentions. We at DermalGrafix strive to ensure our clients have a great experience at the shop. Our Friday 13th events can be a very high volume day for us as Im sure you can recall. Our piercer remembers you both and recalls the experience quite differently. She did mention to you that the day has been busy and due to a previous injury she had some back pain. We regret if this had made you feel as if you didnt receive the proper attention you felt was due. In regards to the information youve received from Anissa, it is just incorrect and subjective from piercer to piercer. I know her personally and shes great at what she does, but has left you misinformed about this piercing process. There is just not a single type of jewelry to be used nor a single mandatory position in which one should be in getting that piercing. If youd like, please do a brief google/YouTube search for that piercing and youll see. I do hope that in the future, before leaving another review like this, you might consider that some information is subjective. Also that a review like this can potentially effect others that have nothing to do with the situation negatively. my sisters and i went to this tattoo shop last friday, to get ear piercings. both my sisters and i ended up having horrible experiences. the piercer that we had (a lady with a bad attitude) right off the bat was very rude and you could tell she didnt want to be there anymore. my sister and i got our cartilage pierced and our tragus pierced, and for the tragus, the piercer put in the wrong jewelry. she was supposed to put in a curved bar, and instead input a straight bar, that was meant for the lip. on top of that she didnt not tighten the ball at all and it ended up falling out today. the piercer was supposed to have us lie down on the chair while piercing our tragus and she had us sitting up the whole time, and did not even tell us how to care for our piercings when we left. today when my ball fell out, i decided to go to another tattoo shop to get it fixed, and i decided to go to good neighbor tattoo in san marcos, and thank god i did. Anisa was my piercer here and she was literally the best. she immediately told me everything wrong with the piercing i had gotten and she gave me my options on how to fix it. she ended up putting a curved earring in my tragus, and helped me to clean up the infection i had a little bit. i highly recommend going to her to get any piercing because she was amazing. it literally did not hurt nearly as bad as it did when i initially got it pierced. she made everything clear that she was doing and you could tell she loved her job and cares about her clients. before going to dermal grafix, please consider going to good neighbor tattoo first. you wont regret it.
