Thank you for your feedback. When your daughter is ready to wear her hair curly instead of straight we would love to help her on that journey.

*** Based on the salons guarantee, we went back, and Rachel was able to fix the color issues in my daughters hair. Apparently my daughters hair was to blame for the black roots and splotchy colornot the technicians. The poor haircuts werent addressed. We went to another salon and, with the same photos and instructions, the beautician was able to give us the haircuts we thought we were paying for at the Curly Hair Studio and at almost 1/4 the price. We wont be going back to the Curly Hair Studio. . My daughter and I went to the Bountiful studio Saturday afternoon, and Im afraid I cant recommend this place to anyone. To begin with, their COVID policy states that everyone wear masks. We were the only ones with masks on. But more to the point, unfortunately our haircuts/color were disasters. Aspen and Tayslee were lovely girls. We had a great time while we were there. However, the next day, we noticed that my daughters color was very splotchy and just kinda of all over the place. She has patches of hair that are completely different colors. Thats not what one usually expects from color at a professional hair studio. In addition to being colored, my daughters hair was to be trimmed back to healthy ends and layered. There was a tiny trim, but her ends are still fried. And Im pretty sure no layers were cut. Im a pasty white lady with no curls, so I didnt expect miracles, but Oh Dear. The stylist seemed to have the mechanics of a haircut down but didnt consider the texture, thickness, or any other characteristics of the hair. I asked several times for layers to be added, repeatedly showed the pic of the hairstyle I wanted, pointing them out, and ended up with a bit of layering in the last couple of inches of my hair. And after the stylist had been working on my hair for probably 45 minutes and washed and towel dried it, she asked me if I had any curl in my hair. I would think she would have noticed by then that I dont. To be brutally honest, I was surprised to hear how long she had been doing hair. She struck me more as someone who was learning the basics. We spent a large sum of money on our hair that day. I think we could have gotten much better results from a regular salon at a much lower price. Were not asking for a refund (the policies on the website clearly state that there are no refunds), but were also not interested in the 14-day guarantee to go back and have the stylists tweak their work. I honestly dont know if they are capable of doing anything different. We expected much more from a professional salon and were terribly disappointed. We wont be coming back.
Hi Rachael. We are sad to see you haircut and experience last year December 2020 was unsatisfactory. All our services in 2020 were a little quicker services then we would of liked due to covid. We are always happy to make adjustments on haircuts if needed. We also love tayslie

I have mixed reviews depending on the stylist I have seen. For quite a while Tayslee was my stylist and she is amazing. After a few schedule conflicts I had to book with another stylist and this is where things went wrong. I received a 5-10 minute dry cut from a particular tenured stylist and was charged $80. I was unsatisfied with the cut and went back for some fixes. After not really listening to my concerns, the same stylist clipped 2-3 pieces of my hair then basically forced me out of her chair as if she didnt want to address any of my concerns or actually fix the problems I was having. It felt like I was inconveniencing her day by asking her to fix the cut. After going to another salon to fix the issue it became clear that there was a large chunk of my hair cut very short on one side of my head and the cut was very, very uneven. I considered reaching out to the salon to discuss my issues but I ultimately felt that a salon that employed a seasoned stylist who charges $80 for a terrible and incomplete dry cut isnt the kind of salon I wanted to continue going to. I really loved Tayslee and all my haircuts from her but unfortunately this experience put such a bad taste in my mouth that I wont be going back.
Last year my husband purchased me a gift card, then an extenuating medical circumstance (flying all over the country for a spine reconstruction following a car accident, we even offered to show them the doctors notes) prevented us from using the gift card within a year. We called to try and get the gift card extended and the owner declined to honor the gift card. No, it isn't their fault that we had this medical problem, but if we knew that their gift cards expired we wouldn't have wasted the money. He could have just slipped some cash into a card and called it good. The only feasible reason to put a expiration date on a gift card is to take advantage of situations like this and get free cash. We really expected better quality from this establishment.
