don't book an appointment here if you don't want it to be canceled at the last minute with zero consolation or attempt to make it right. they have a 24 hour cancellation policy or you will be charged the full amount, according to their website. yet when they canceled on me only two and a half hours before my appointment they did not offer me a free haircut. i kept my afternoon free to make this appointment. this is unprofessional and sloppy management by people who don't care about client retention. this is not how to conduct business. it is insulting and rude.
Having spent the time and resources trying every different barber shop looking for a haircut that didn't begin and end with clippers, I can say that Southpaw is a place you can count on getting a flattering haircut based on what you want. Sounds simple but it hasn't been for me. Don't hesitate to make an appointment and see for yourself how well you and your hair are treated.
I rarely ever give reviews but my experience here was not great. Dwain barely even paid attention to the haircut he was giving me and spent maybe 15 minutes on actually cutting my hair and another 10-15 washing my hair and giving me a back rub. Which shouldnt really be a part of a haircut even if you are rushed for your next client. The fade I was given was actually not a fade and was really badly cut with no attention to precision. I cant believe I paid $50+ for that experience. His use of clippers was really rough and hurt. Ill never go back to southpaw again.
