What a disappointment. Our family's 2nd time here. 1st time was in 2021 when food was great and service was excellent. This time service was horrible, unpleasant greeting at the entrance. We could sense & were given a different treatment from the other guests. Turned out, we're not the only non-white guests who received such treatment. Note: NOT any kind white folks' fault, but La Merise's, who apparently can't grasp what truly makes America the greatest country on earth. "Nice Crepe": The [so-called] chicken was dry while the crepe itself and the sauce were ok (we have been enjoying authentic French crepes at some of the finest French restaurants in Paris, NYC, Boston, Chicago,... [able to prepare at home as well]). I would expect quality chicken or any ingredient being used at La Merise, not frozen-processed chicken, pre-sliced and comes in industrial boxes which is used in FAKE "Chinese Restaurants" and used in salads at cheap American diners/fast junk food all across America. "Steak Hashe" had a description including, quote, "fillet mignon" were actually a piece of BEEF PATTY cooked WELL-DONE (biggest crime against a steak). This is just sad and pathetic for La Merise. Won't come back. Won't recommend to friends nor business partners of all races.

The food was wonderful. Really well made and tasty. The drinks were nice, and presentation was classy but comfortable. My main thing was that our waitress was mediocre at best. Not very personable, or welcoming and not at all aware as to her customers needs. It was frustrating because the food really was lovely and we were really looking forward to going here for something new. Wish the service from our individual server was a little more like the rest of the location.

Disappointing. Steak came out like a a parboiled cow pattie -- about the same shape and tough as shoe leather. Accompanying salad was a sad little affair; the only thing satisfactory was the fries and garlic aioli. Expected far better.
