Im a travel nurse and this laundry service was our option to use that was affiliated with the JW Marriott. I also dont like writing negative reviews and Im pretty understanding. First, dont expect them to care about lost belongings. Im more upset about the lack of service I received concerning my lost gold necklace. - I washed my clothes with this laundry service before I traveled back home to Atl. Before leaving the hotel, I realized I was missing my gold necklace. I checked everywhere in my room and belongings. I figured it was in one of my pockets or got caught in my scrubs that got washed. I immediately called Ian to inquire about my necklace. They told me that they will ask and call me back, if they found it or not. I called back at the end of the day, and once every week. I always got the same answer, which was we will look for it and get back to you. All I needed or expected was a call-back with a yes or no, in regards to finding my lost necklace. All I got back was a rude , unprofessional, and disinterested reply. - They truly dont value their customers, or they dont value the nurses there bc they are still getting their money. Since, Im writing: dont wash your whites with them. Our scrubs were all black, and at first I separated my whites by placing a second bag in with my first bag. When I received my clothes back, my whites were lost. I ended up finding my whites with someone elses bag. The second time, I used this laundry service, I just included all my clothes together like everyone else. When I received my clothes back, all my whites clothes were gray and damaged. Other co-workers also had discolored whites, as well. I gave 2 stars because it was convenient for us, especially since we all worked 6 days a week for 12hrs. I advise other nurses to research another facility you want to wash whites.

Sea- Thank you for your review and using Ian's! We do our best to be eco-friendly when we can, but plastic is used to protect garments from becoming dirty once they have been already cleaned at our facility. It is also helpful during transport and to keep clean clothes from touching the inside of a bag that held dirty clothing (think pet hair, etc.). One neat thing we offer is plastic/poly bag recycling. You are welcome to return the poly with your next order in your bag and we can recycle it for you! Thank you again for using our service and we hope to see you again!

Fast and great service to have. I only took away one star because they say theyre eco friendly but my laundry came back in about a dozen plastic bags. I save all my soft plastic to recycle at Walmart but I know most people dont and it all goes straight in a landfill. I wish they just put my folded laundry back in my bag without any plastic.
Ian's has been a great, easy to schedule dry cleaning service with pickup from and delivery to the home. I appreciate ease of scheduling online or via app, or by simply responding to text message reminders of when they will be in the area.

In regards to dry cleaning vs laundry shirts you should have been contacted for the reason our staff thought it would be safer for the material to go through dry cleaning first. The cleaning itself is good; however, there are two problems: 1. If you stipulate launder and press shirts, no dry cleaning, they will still dryclean some shirts even though the garment labels don't require it. They charge more for that service. Very frustrating when this happens because you're charged more and the shirt didn't require that. 2. If you ask for pick up and delivery, they will routinely fail to pick up on the regular date. I had this issue repeatedly with them preCOVID and switched to another cleaner that wasn't as good, but never missed a pick up. Thought I'd try them again now but got the same result. I understand rescheduling the first time due to the ice storm, but the reschedule date they provided by text was not honored. No one came to pick up my bag that day. So I'm kinda done with their service because the pickup is not reliable and they tend to clean some shirts with services that are more expensive, not needed, and not requested.
