Sorry to hear you feel this way. When you brought your vehicle in we diagnosed and quoted for the faults that were present. Once repaired all the faults were cleared and did not reoccur. When you came to collect we did state if any issued arose please come down and we will diagnose for free. Should any parts we had replaced would have been resolved free of charge as they were all warranted for a 12 month period.

Appalling workmanship, appalling costermer service, the car is now in a worse state than when it enterd there garage and they have taken 2000 pounds from me. I feel robbed. In response to your message you told me my car needed a dpf recondition I paid you for that work after said works was done and my car was returned to me in the next 24 hours my dpf light would come on followed by my coil light and engine management light I was told by one of smashings employees that it wasn't there fault the dpf light had come on 24 hours after reconditioning the dpf, the car has never being worse since they had the vehicle its down on power I dont evan drive it anymore. I will do all I can to make sure people know about your shoddy workmanship and loose you as much work as I possibly can because I think its disgusting that you should get away with taking my money and leaving my car in the state its in.
Took my Samsung galaxy s6 into i smash. I was quoted 200 to repair by samsung!! But the tech lads here did it for a fraction of the price and were very efficient. The phone was fixed within minutes and saved me an absolute fortune. Would definitely recommend using them.
Sorry to hear you are not happy with the service provided, however we used three different systems (VAG-COM / Autologic / ODIS) to try and regenerate including the main agent diagnostic equipment (ODIS). Each system stated that the soot accumulation was too high to perform the regeneration therefore the sequence could not be completed safely. This was all explained to you and we provided a quote to rectify the issue. You decided to collect the car instead and take the issue up with the first garage (rightly so). Therefore, we provided you with an invoice for the work we completed including a fault read so you could take this up with your other garage, to which you were very happy with the service we provided. We also advised if you need any further help / assistance to contact us as we would happy explain our findings to the other garage. Instead you have now just paid for somebody to reset the parameters on your DPF, all this will do is ensure your DPF will become more clogged, causing further damage not only to the DPF but possible damage to the sensors. Resetting the parameters only will result in the DFP warning light come back on and placing you back at square one meaning further money will have to be spent on rectifying the issue on your vehicle. Had my dpf cleaned at another garage but had problems regenerating it so I took it down to smashing for a second opinion they told me I needed a new dpf and it would cost 250 for dpf, 250 labour and 80+vat to regenerate the car. I asked if I could get my old dpf back they told me no it is included in my price. So I went to collect the car and they told me I needed to pay the 80+vat for a regen they did on a specialist Vw system they use called odis they gave me a print out I paid my bill so I went back to the garage where I got it cleaned and he told me he has a friend who could regen it and he charges 40 so he came and plugged his computer in did hes thing and it cleared it. I was very disappointed a so called Vw specialist garage nearly had me for 600 I would never use these ever again and any one who asks I would tell them not to use these cowboys.
