Lindsay, were sorry that you were frustrated with the adversarial process with your contested legal matter. As your attorneys discussed with you, there were some complications with your case as a result of residency requirements and other factors. You expressed frustration that your case had taken over a year. It is true that certain legal matters can take quite a bit of time while moving through the court system and working with opposing counsel who have a duty to protect the interest of their clients as well. Our attorneys involved did not make countless mistakes. We explained the legal process to you. In addition, as attorneys we rely on the information we receive from our clients when filing in the court system. Also, the length of time was not a result of pure laziness but the result of court availability, cooperation (or lack of cooperation) from opposing counsel, and Utah court residency requirements. Unfortunately, legal fees can and often do add up, especially when opposing parties choose to litigate rather than mediate and negotiate. This can frustrate clients who do not like to see their legal fees add up as a result of negotiating with opposing counsel. But based on the heavy lifting we already did on your case, we are optimistic that your case will have a positive outcome. That said, were sorry that the adversarial process with your legal matter has left you feeling frustrated.

I would never recommend this firm to anyone. After over a year, countless mistakes, pure laziness, and $16,000 later, my case is no where near finished and I now have a new attorney and the money I paid to this firm got me absolutely no where. Matter of fact, it put me in a worse situation than when I started with them. I am absolutely appalled by this firm.

I'm unsure who SV MP is; but generally speaking, it can sometimes be difficult to understand that as a litigation attorney, Kyle Adams often must be physically in court proceedings, mediations, depositions, and other activities which prevent him from immediately responding to everyone who might call in during a given business day. Like other litigation attorneys in our firm, Kyle does his best to return phone calls as quickly as he can given those constraints. Kyle's paralegals are under similar restraints in that they are constantly assisting him to prepare for the next litigation event. That said, we are sorry that you felt frustrated; unfortunately that is not an uncommon reaction for someone caught up in the litigation process. As for the e-mail from Jeff Butler, we receive many positive responses in connection with the free divorce workshop. In the event a person wants to be dropped from the list, they simply need to send an e-mail to unsubscribe them. Of the thousands of recipients who like the updates on the seminars, we are sorry that you felt that the e-mail was unproductive for your circumstances.

Kyle Adams is horrible attorney. Does not respond to emails or phone calls. His paralegal would sometimes respond, but then she followed the same work ethic as Kyle and stopped responding. I had to email the partners twice and they finally got back to me with another attorney to work on my case. The other attorney responded and was good. However, if you want any attention you have to email the partners and that's a horrible way to run a law firm. In addition, if you go with these guys expect Jeff Butler to spam you with divorce workshop emails. I've emailed him more than five times to remove us from his divorce workshop spam emails. He always says he will and then doesn't. We never came to this law firm for any divorce or marriage items. Yet, Jeff Butler thinks everyone that is a client should receive his spam divorce workshop emails. The entire firm is poorly run and even poorly managed.

Could not ask for a better family law attorney than Stephen! He literally and I mean literally handed my grandson over to my son when the mother tried to illegally adopt him out! Jason Haymore was my attorney.
