1) Called Bespoke to get a haircut & grey blending. No one picked up. No biggie, needed the consultation so walked there in 20 minutes and lo and behold, a great long reception equiped with a telephone center and someone there to occupy it. I wonder why my call didn't go through or no one returned it. That's -1* 2) Then front desk explained me it was a slow day and no one was there to cosult my about grey blending and so I would have to come in again. Why would I wanna do that when I've already called you up and then already visited you. Given the lesser work, my call should have gone through/returned and gotten all the information over the phone to save me the 40 minute round trip. Bespoke is a hair salon consisting of 2 onwers, a front desk manager overseeing other front desk staff, a salon floor manager, followed by a long line of stylists. Customer care should never be a problem in place like this. As a new customer, a visited Bespoke 3 times to have my first haircut! Thats also -1* Haircut was excellent and exactly what I was hoping and expecting. Points 1 and 2 can be easily improved and I've already gone back there for a 2nd haircut because thats how much I liked my stylist. 3) Last thing was that during my 1st haircut I ended up paying more than what I thought I would, because front desk had forgoten to let me know of the higher than advertised cost involved due to the fact that they had paired me with a master stylist. A customer should always know beforehand exactly what he is geting and how much it costs, whether its a 25, 55 or an 80 dollar haircut. That and some tip issues I encountered is another -1* I loved my stylist and my haircut enough to decide to keep going at Bespoke despite the higher cost. I just hope other first timers have a better experience than I did and points 1,2,3 have been improved. Also hope that tips in the future can be done properly with the card payment. Otherwise, if you don't have cash, on you, things could get unnecessarily complicated. There is a conviently placed ATM inside the sallon but I don't see the point of being charged a further 3.5 dollars when you just want to leave a tip and you've already paid for your service with your card. I've edited somewhat my review and improved my overal rating by 2 stars, because a) I got a polite response to my review from one of the owners and b) I love love my haircut and my stylist.
Im so sorry that this was your first experience and impression of us. We unfortunately could not control the situation today as your stylist had an unavoidable emergency. If there was anyway we could have fit you in with anyone else we would have. We hope youd be willing to give us another shot in the future and apologize again for the inconvenience. -Ashley

I heard great things so I was exited to go for my first time. They cancelled on me so I rebooked, then they cancelled on me again 2 hours before my appointment. Now I need to rush and find a place for my event.
