My initial experience, the staff came across very forthcoming and communicative over the phone. I was given a direct number to reach a specific stylist based on who would better suit my needs, I felt that was personable . I was able to get a hold of the stylist almost immediately to get on their books and get styled. When it was time for my appointment I arrived, services were rendered they offered other services, I declined they insisted so I welcomed it (eyebrow waxing), services were paid for then I left. A day later I had a terrible reaction to the waxing (I was not at all upset about it) informed the stylist as a courtesy they made the choice to refund my money. I felt this was more than generous as most would not. I went to schedule a future appointment with the stylist this time minus any addition services. A day or so before I get an alert saying it was canceled no explanation, called the shop and would now get the run around( this can't be the same shop!). Then was told someone else was handling their books and they will contact me when they have an opening goodbye. No recording of a name or number(I was in shock). Remembering I have their direct number I decided to text and call them like before but this time around no answer no replies. I was very uncertain what you think. There was a major disconnect and clear lack of communication. The staff and the stylist at that point gave the indirect verbal and nonverbal ques for my business to be taken elsewhere.
I've been going here for 2 years now, but it seems longer. Christal was my hairstylist for my wedding and I was sold. It's hard to find a hairdresser who treats natural hair with reasonable prices. She is truly talented and a gem, nonetheless.
Loved the service and the fact that she made sure not only I left happy and satisfied with my hair, but that she approved also!! Definitely will be coming back!
