I had two good haircuts by her the second one was definitely not as good as the first she was an emotional wreck and she likes to talk about her other clients parents and then for the third appointment she canceled on me and rescheduled which I was fine with and she didn't show up for the rescheduled appointment she messaged me the night before saying can we come a half hour early so we did and then she couldn't find her keys wanted us to come to her house her house which she said was a mess she said she had to clean it we drove from North Phoenix to Chandler we had already wasted an hour waiting for her because she was late and then wanted us to drive 20 more minutes to her house that was a mess with my autistic kid who gets into everything then she used her personal life again is an excuse to just cancel all together and then she writes about you on the internet and tries to badmouth you when she doesn't show up for her own appointment it is very unprofessional I do not recommend her

We had one good appointment with Jojo. She did arrive late at our first appointment but other than that she was very accommodating and made our boy comfortable and he got a haircut. After the first appointment she just kept cancelling on us. We understand that things happen and sometimes you have to cancel so we didn't think twice about it. We made another appointment and she cancelled again and this time with very short notice but again we understand cause things do happen. I reached out to her and asked if she needed help cause she sounded quite distressed. We made a third appointment and she cancelled again but this time when we were half way to Chandler from Maricopa. We were warned in advance that Jojo cancel on people last minute but we ignored it. I don't recommend Jojo for people that have to prepare their kids in advance for a haircut. Our son has sensory difficulties and ASD so we would have to prepare in advance for his haircut only to be continuously cancelled on. After the third cancellation when we were already halfway there and put the work in to prepare our son for his haircut then we gave up. We disrupted our son's routine,prepared him for a haircut and it was all for nothing 3 times. Cancellation and reschedule might not be a problem for some kids but for those with ASD and the kids that need routine and consistency this will cause problems and this is worth noting if you are looking for a hairstylist for a child with special needs.

Absolutely perfect experience for my young son. He is a busy boy and doesn't like to sit still for a haircut. Jojo was a magic maker. Her salon is comfortable for little ones with lots of great distractions and she made my son so comfortable. So thankful to Jojo and her services!

Thank you Jojo! She seriously is so amazing and so caring! She took almost an hour with my son, gained his trust, met him where he was at and didnt force him to sit or stay still. He played with toys and her and she let him touch all the equipment and no surprises. She told him the whole process and would warn him before touching. He normally screams and cries at other places, but this was his first haircut that there was no tears and she actually got him to laugh! YAY! A huge win for us!
