The salon I usually go to didnt have any available appointments so I found salon verve online and all the reviews looked amazing. After getting my hair cut, I am extremely disappointed. I asked for my hair to be cut so that it hit at my collarbone and instead it was cut so it falls at about chin length. On top of that, the layers that were added are extremely choppy. I will not be making another appointment here.
Thats so disappointing. Im so sorry about that. What she booked online, was a root color touch-up, which books an hour and a half. Its for ladies who have 1/2 inch new growth to cover up. What she wanted was fashion colors. That is a 4-5 hour process, as it takes lightener first, to get the hair light enough for the fashion colors to show through. She wouldnt have been happy with the result if we tried to do fashion colors over her natural color. She would have spent $100, and it would have washed right back out of her hair, if it was visible at all. I wish we could go back three weeks ago, and discuss over the phone what she was looking for. The online booking system doesnt know what questions to ask, for people that are unsure what to book. I would love to get her scheduled for the service that she wants, if you want to call and give us another shot. Im so sorry that this happened to your daughter. I truly hope we get to see you again. My daughter made an appointment THREE weeks ago. She took the day off of work to go to it. Got a call LESS than TWO hours before the appointment saying they didnt have time for what she wanted done. Weve gone there quite a few times, but will not go again.

I lucked in to an appointment with Heather! I booked online and she had a cancelation! Finally I found someone who really listened to what I wanted and asked the appropriate questions so that we both were clear. I love my hair and really enjoyed my time with Heather as well, so it was a WIN, WIN today!
NIKKI was very helpful, friendly and considerate. She gave me a great hair cut and discussed hair care and color options. Salon was clean, staff friendly.
That makes us very sad that you were not thrilled with your experience. Communication break downs do happen from time to time, and we would love an opportunity to make it up to you. Even if it's just for a consultation. We find that bringing a photo with you, or several photos with you to an appointment helps communicate exactly what you're looking for. One photo of the hair color you'd like, one for the cut, etc. And you may request a "Master Stylist" who has been in the business more than 10 years and has continued her education beyond Cosmetology School. The girl who did my hair did exactly what I told her NOT to do. She didn't really listen to me and now I have to grow out color I never wanted in the first place. The up side is that it didn't look horrible, it was just not what I wanted or told the stylist to do. Customer service needs to be dramatically improved.
