Hi Rachel! I am so sorry you had a less than stellar visit to Lemon Frog. I took the time to look up your recommended shops to find that they are intended for a different clientele who prefer higher end vintage designer items. Lemon Frog actually focuses on true vintage with unique details because we have many designers shopping for inspiration, studios renting/purchasing for period shows, stylisting using for photo shoots, bands for shows or albulm covers, and of course, our most discerning clientele. Although we do have many high end items that are more rare and currently sought-after after, they are generally not designer pieces, but rather future inspiration for a designer or a forever treasure for one of our clients. Most of our shop we try to keep affordable, hence our famous 100's of items for $10 and under guaranteed at all times or you receive $100! I hope you can understand that there are many types of vintage shops that cater to different clientele and that we are simply not a high end designer vintage shop. It's okay. In fact, good for LA, but nothing compares to NYC Vintage stores like James Veloria or Pilgrim New York. I have bought things here twice as I love to shop, but NYC is way better for vintage. Here on a work trip.
