I went to get my hair lighter made an appointment with Jessica. I told her I wanted color and curls. She was very professional and sweet. The color sat in when she got ready to rinse it she told someone that work in the salon (her manager) that my hair turned pink instead of blonde they talked with me and told me theyll get it fixed and to the right color. Rinsed it out and I sat in the chair Jessica started blow drying my hair another girl came to help her blow dry it on the other side of my hair (which I didnt understand) Jessica left off of my hair, she was blow drying it and she went to a new customer and the other girl in the salon was blowing drying my hair she didnt finish drying it, then another lady (the manager) left her client to come blow dry the rest of my hair. She asked Jessica while Jessica was working on her other client is that all she had to do to my hair.. Jessica responded and said yes.. when I spoke to Jessica I told her I wanted curls. I felt like I didnt get the service I wanted. I wasnt happy at all that three people was working on my hair when it only takes one and the color of my hair wasnt the color I wanted its still pink in some spots. It wasnt styled at all. I wouldnt go back there to ever get my hair done I wouldnt recommend this salon. I spent 139.00 on my hair and wasnt happy or satisfied. It took them hours to do it.
***The only reason I gave this mean girls club 5 stars was because of my stylist, Amanda. She left, so now they get the one star they deserve. Amanda Massey is the absolute best! I don't know why they don't have her on their site, but they should. She is the only person, out of more than 7 stylist at 7 different salons in 2 different states, that hasn't messed up my hair. She's not afraid to try a new style. You won't be dissapointed with her wielding the shears.
Ive been seeing Amber for 10 years now and she and Dustin and their staff treat me like family. They are experts at what they do and they and their staff go above and beyond with their customer service. I look forward to my appointments every time, and always leave feeling revived. Thanks guys for all you do!
Was not happy with hair quality or weft placement of my extensions done by Jenna at gray salon. Chose to have them removed by another salon rather than let them fix it. I had damage near the front bead after only wearing hers for 2 weeks. I previously had the same hair in for 1 year done by another stylist in bham and had almost NO damage after probably 6 move ups by my previous stylist. The hair she bought for me to replace my old hair was in worse shape than the one she took out I bought last June. It would not style. No matter how much oil I put on the ends it still seemed fried and dry. She did dye some of it purple. I did not immediately think it was bad extensions. I left the salon happy that day. I thought they were just longer than I was used to and needed to get used to them or get them trimmed. However after trying to wash and style it myself I realized how bad they were. I think it says a lot that instead of returning to this salon I went somewhere else and had my extensions removed so my hair and scalp heal before I spend another $2k-$2500 to have someone else put them in. I also did not even ask for a refund bc it is my fault for not doing my research before having her do them.
