Stay away from Leith for any car buying experiences! Look at my other reviews... Almost all 4 out 5. I prefer to promote and support, but Leith was horrible. Years later, I feel compelled to update this. Since the original post, I have bought 2 cars from Crossroads and NEVER a problem with either one over the past few years and 75k miles between those two. (oil change, alignment, a battery). My wife and I purchased a used Mercedes with Leith and we fully understand the risks involved with used. However, they have had the car more than us! Almost every light has been replaced, head gasket, A/C unit, oil pan, and a few other items... Just in 6 months! It has been so bad, we ran into the manager at a local restaurant and he said to us "you guys have been much more patient than I would have been." --- he pays for our dinner that night! We brought it in for an oil change and within a day or so, they check oil level signal came an. We called and they said that is usual for a Mercedes, just add some more. We did and in about 2 weeks the same thing and now it is back AGAIN. While in, we asked them to fix our lock on the drivers door, but now grease rides up the window! Again, there is risk with any car but what is extremely shady is when the manager offers to replace the car, but than they try to 'upsell' you on another. Then when you decide not to, they back out the deal and say they can't refund it either. Used car issues vs. Ethical business practices. You are right Mr. Coyle, we have been WAY more patient than you and now we are at the boiling point. After several months and multiple commitments to receive a call, Kevin - GM, never called. A very basic commitment that he was not professional enough to make. I finally went down to the dealership to finally speak with him. Kevin said "We have participated in this experience and have tried." What!? Again, trying to stay to facts here and keep my opinions out as much as possible. If this is the experience you want....they have some nice "looking" cars there but have someone else look over the car first. Good Luck!
You won't find a better, more relaxing place to purchase a car than Maseraiti of Raleigh. My salesman (James Simpson) was very nice and easy to work with and the entire staff made an otherwise stressful task very easy. My experience with Brad from the service department has been equally positive. Brad keeps you informed with progress updates via phone so you always know the status of your car. I would recommend this facility to ANYONE in the market for a new or previously owned vehicle.
Chaz (service advisor) did a great job in assisting me and keeping me updated with my cars necessities. Recalls I knew nothing about and also telling me what I should and should t do!!!
