Im sorry you are having problems with your Subaru. The issues you are listing should be covered by the Subaru manufacturer warranty, regardless of what dealer you purchased from. If you took your vehicle to a local Subaru dealer you shouldnt have been charged for any repairs provided you arent over mileage, even then, Subaru tends to be willing to help their customers. Our store does not have the ability to request reimbursement for a customer whos vehicle isnt in our care. If you had the repairs done outside of a certified Subaru shop, perhaps you as a customer requesting reimbursement from Subaru directly might be effective, but unless it was an emergency they dont tend to take an independent shops diagnosis, for good reason. I suggest calling 1-800-782-2783. They will want the name of the local Subaru dealer you are using for your service, to work through any issues. I apologize for any miscommunications, our mechanics dont tend to talk to customers on the phone and Im fairly certain you and I didnt speak about these issues. Good luck to you. If you are back in the area with your vehicle and find need for service we are always happy to do anything we can for our clients. Bryan Baer General Manager

Was initially happy with a Subaru Legacy that my wife purchased, but have had nothing but bad luck with this dealership and the car since then. At two years old, the battery has failed, the electrical system needs repaired/possibly replaced (i.e., some switches have lost functionality), and the factory installed metal tire valve stem caps corroded to the tire. That last issue (we were told by the mechanics on the phone) happens pretty often, and they get a good bit of service work for their garage because of it. Despite knowing that people will have issues from it, they continue to sell cars with this 'feature'. We have since moved from the area and so were unable to take it to their garage. I called to let them know, and the dealer said (loudly in front of some other customers that he was 'assisting') that he would gladly reimburse us. Later, the craven sent us an email letting us know that he would not be able to, since "it happens pretty frequently." If anything, that should be reason TO reimburse us, and to NOT install them in the first place. We no longer live in the area, but we will be letting our friends and family know not to buy from this person. You can buy a Subaru anywhere, get one somewhere else - where the owner will back up their product.

This business is really shady and unethical. I ended up reporting them to Subaru recently because they listed my car for sale after I put a reserve on a vehicle that was incoming (mind you I didn't purchase one yet so they didn't own my Subaru at the time yet they put the sales record on the VIN). Subaru recommended that I find another dealership. I called our saleswoman Christina Marks out on Budd Bauer having the car for sale before they technically owned it and they instantly had it removed from their site and said I was lying and saw a similar vehicle that wasn't mine. I had the listing printed before I called and once I sent it to her she was very rude about it. She was also super ignorant when we cancelled the reserve on the WRX and didn't understand why I was so "worked up". I never seen the WRX come through on the website so I thought I dodged a bad situation. I was very wrong. My car was recently totaled and questions were asked as to why Budd Bauer was the last sales record when I had no history of selling the vehicle. It had been a 1 Owner since I purchased in 2020. I had no explanation other than I was trying to purchase a vehicle from here and Budd Bauer had my car and VIN plastered all over the website for sale (see pictures) when I didn't sign any papers saying the vehicle was theirs. I have no idea why any dealership would put a sales record on a VIN when they NEVER OWNED THE CAR. I wouldn't recommend this dealer to anyone and I'm actively keeping in touch with Subaru directly regarding the issue. I really wish I never bothered trying to buy a vehicle from here. Now the car has a salvage title and you were the last reported sale, congrats I guess.
