At first I thought this dealership was perfect! I live on the entire other side of the usa on the east cost and Bobby helped me through the process super nicely and the experience at first was good! After receiving the car I come to notice that they drilled a license plate mount into the perfectly good bumper of a RARE 1/1500 YELLOW car and did not care they ruined the car like this or even enough to tell me they PURPOSELY damaged my car. Its very clear there is no need for the plate to be drilled in, the holder is in the grille NOT on the bumper, its common sense. Although I had an easy experience buying that would have me give them 5 stars, I dont believe they even deserve 1. Its very conniving that they would leave that fact out to someone who is purchasing from the entire other coast. As a previous RS1 owner I KNOW that the plate and mount are not screwed in so it was not even plausible for me to assume there would be holes hiding under something NOT meant to be drilled in. Make sure you make them take off the plate holder before purchasing any of these cars or you will have a very upsetting surprise hiding under it and no justice for their very large mistake.

My experience with Elk Grove VW has been great! Their internet sales department (Bruce Patterson, Rich Barbour, & Howard Tran) has topnotch customer service. Hassel free, they were willing to order me the exact vehicle I was looking for with the options I wanted for the best price throughout the Sacramento area. I attempted to work with 3 other VW dealers in the Sacramento area (Vacaville, Sacramento, & Roseville), but they were not willing to accommodate my needs or provide me a reasonable price. This was my first experience with Elk Grove VW and will not be the last! Thank You!
