Worst experience ever at a car dealership's service department. Had an appointment first thing in the morning, sat on the drive for 20 minutes while they talked to walk-ins and other customers with later appointments even when I arrived 1st. The porter apologized but the manager acted as if I was an inconvenience. Told the advisor I needed my car back by the end of the day, didn't receive a call to tell me my car wasn't going to be finished till after the dealership closed. They sent a car to take me back to the dealership and told me that they were leaving now, it took an hour to pick me up, I live 3.2 miles away. I have never been treated so poorly at a dealer. I know nothing of their sales department, but I will not return just because of the service department.
Car was there two weeks, service people wouldn't return my calls, thought about calling police to report car theft. Ended up taking it to another dealership. Still may file criminal charges.
I had been interested in a Chevy Volt and priced 1 at another dealer in the Orlando Area and knew they were overpriced. I called David Maud Chevrolet and asked for the sales manager. Jason the sales manager gave me his best price over the phone, I didn't even have to go to the dealership. He beat the other dealer by $1900.00. Nick then took over as the salesman in charge of delivery. They had to obtain the exact car I wanted from another dealer. They even offered to have it directly delivered to my house! Now that is service! I said I would go to the dealership to pick my car up. My car was clean, charged and ready to go. I was in and out of the finance office in 10 minutes. Everything was as promised, no bait and switch or hidden charges at the end, my payment was even about $2 less a month than I was told. My XM radio was already activated and OnStar was ready to go. Every person in the dealership was friendly and treated me with respect and respected the fact that my time is valuable. I am in my mid-40's and have leased or purchased about 15 cars. This was probably my best dealer experience ever! I got an amazing price, everything was as promised (or better than promised) and everyone I spoke to sincerely thanked me for my business and smiled. Thank you Jason and thank you Nick and thank you to everyone else for such a wonderful experience. You have EARNED my business and EARNED my praise - and I LOVE MY NEW CHEVY VOLT!!!
the true value of a car dealership can be proofed as soon as you need servicing whether it is regular maintenance or unexpected events. in all these David Maus Chevrolet excels by providing honest and quick, reliable service. Truly recommended.
My oldest daughter and I stopped into your Sanford location to buy a new Chevy Camaro. We came prepared with a clean trade-in, the payoff, check stubs of my daughters employment, and had already arranged insurance. Even with this preparation, it took over 5 hours for me to buy this car! I have purchased dozens of cars in my lifetime, and for several years was in the car sales industry. This was and remains the worst experience I've ever had buying a car. The process on the sales floor, arguments required to sign out in the finance office, and difficulty scheduling the striping for the car have been ridiculous. I will not be using your service department for service, and will pay to have the stripes removed and reapplied on my own. I not only will not recommend your dealership, I've told every person that asked about the car and where I bought it, aware of the poor experience provided by David Maus Chevrolet. The fact that I have to provide at least 1 star to complete the survey says it all.
