I was told my replaced glasses would be ready in a couple weeks. I called approximately 3 weeks later. I was then told it will take some timemaybe 3-4 weeks. I called 3 weeks later for an update. After being on hold to investigate the situation, I then learned the order was sitting at the Annapolis location (the glasses were dropped off at Gambrills). The order was sent to Gambrills the next day. I received a call on 2/4/2022 from the store to inform me the glasses arrived, however the prescription is a temporary prescription because the original order was incorrectly written by the person who was handling the replacement. Therefore, Im waiting an additional week for my daughters prescription. Not only was the order incorrect, but If I did not follow up, who knows how much longer the glasses wouldve sat in the wrong location?
All four of the doctors at Peepers are compassionate and thorough! My 7 year old had an eye exam by Dr. Iskander and he was just amazing. Peepers has an awesome selection of frames as well with the best opticians to help you find the perfect pair. Highly recommended.

We have had numerous ASL/deaf patients at our practice and they are all extremely grateful that we spent the extra time to make sure they were well taken care of. The associate that was helping you is our General Manager and she herself is deaf and hearing impaired and wears hearing aids as well. Were sorry her ASL skills were unsatisfactory for you. We also reached out to a professional interpreter for you but they were unavailable during the day and time of your appointment which is why we tried to move your appointment to accommodate you earlier with our General Manager. In regards to your previous records, we did reach out to them to have them fax it over to us in advance, but they did not send us the records. Again, we apologize for your experience and please let us know if there is anything else we can do.

Worst experience at an eye doctors office in my whole life. I requested an American Sign Language interpreter and they assured me that they will get me one so I scheduled my first appointment with the office and Im also new to the area. They texted me that they have an interpreter today and can move my appointment up. So I used my sick leave from work to attend my appointment. It turned out that I was deceived, they falsely claimed to me that they have an interpreter but it was an associate who hardly knew any sign language and on top of that, her ASL skills were terrible and non-existent. There was no ACTUAL ASL interpreter at all, I was grossly misled. Then they kept me waiting in the lobby for almost an hour after moving up my appointment a couple days early and when they got me in a room they dont even have my records after I gave the optical assistant the phone number of my old optometrist in another state where I lived a few days ago. By then the office was closed and I was not in the mood to communicate on my phone with them for at least a few hours explaining my eye history without my records, taking the eye exam, trying on and picking out eyeglasses, asking questions, etc. So I walked out without having the eye exam and now I have to find a new office who will properly accommodate me and will have my records ready. Completely disorganized and deceiving. They truly wasted my time and sick leave. Deaf people, do yourselves a favor and do NOT go to this office. They are ignorant and do not do their job at all. I wish I could give them zero stars instead of one, oh well.
