Is been 24 hours since our rented RV broke down. We have been stranded with no solution other than the vehicle being towed from one place to another., no other solution just sit and wait with out a replacement vehicle. Hours on the phone trying to get something done. This is a nightmare, worst costumer service ever and dont even think about leaving the vehicle behind because you are stuck with it. Again, this is not the middle of no where , we are in Tucson AZ. Imagine if this happens in a camp ground somewhere.

Rented an RV from the Kansas City location. It has not been a good experience and they will never get my business again. I would recommend that you rent through Outdoorsy or a similar site instead. First off, they made me wait until 1pm to pick up my reserved RV which was a day I was charged for. Secondly, my propane tank was only half full, gas tank half full, and they winterized the unit so we can't use the fresh water tanks. I was told that I could stop and pay to have it unwinterized at my cost. I'm already paying over 3k for the rental and then they waste my time. We are vacationing in AZ where it's 80. And last but not least, my credit card was double charged which overdrafted my account temporarily and made my funds unavailable. When I called the help line I explained that they had put me in a compromising position over. I asked him what am I supposed to do for fuel when they put me in this position and locked up my account and I was told to call him back when I run out of fuel. The local branch was helpful as much as they could be but the customer service line at corporate was horrible. Beware, don't rent from them unless you want your plans to go to hell. I can't remember the last time I was this unhappy with a purchase.

WOW!! Such a great experience!! From the first greeting to the last and 860 miles in between!! We rented for the first time and had no idea of camping with hookups. The on line tutorial we watched prior to pickup and the in person review got us on the road! We only referred to the handy manual a couple times for clarity of operation in cold weather. The camper drove very smooth with absolutely no issues! It was basically like driving a full size pickup truck, Taller and slightly wider!! We drove through Arizonas most beautiful mountains camping in 5 different campgrounds over 7 days! A great way to get around considering if we used hotels we would have been constantly packing and unpacking plus stuck in the busy hub of a town! Much more flexible stop overs using campgrounds in remote locations! Obviously I could go on but you get the just if you are considering doing it DO IT!!!

So much fun to hit the road in an RV. Love the experience is so much more relaxed when you're just renting. The units are well equipped and run well. We had a concern and called the 1-800 number and got someone right away to answer our questions. Really, a great company to work with. We've gone with Cruise America 3 times, looking forward to the next.
