After buying a 2 year old car for over $40,000 total from Richard Dime at Capitol Subaru and driving it for about an hour, I noticed a strong and unusual smell throughout the car that only became apparent to me when I was driving it for a prolonged time with the AC off. During my short test drive prior to the sale earlier that day, the AC and air ventilation were running on their maximum settings the entire time, which must have masked the foul smell in the car. The unpleasant odors make me sick and smell like someone either vomited or spilled milk and let it spoil inside the car at some time in the past and that the smell was treated only on the surface with cleaning agents and/or deodorants which only hid the problem and masked the odor. Only after sitting and driving in the car for an hour under normal air circulation conditions, all of my clothes have now taken on that awful smell. I cannot be driving this car going forward in this condition when it makes me this nauseous already. This sickening smell is literally a deal breaker for me. If I had been aware of it, I certainly would have passed on the sale and waited a while longer for a vehicle that does not have this problem. Independent professional Detailing vendors tell me that it would take about $1000 to deep clean, steam, shampoo, extract and disinfect the car from all the spilled bodily fluids, drinks and rotten food remains in it. I am working with my lawyer right now to reverse the sale under California's Lemon Law as the only lame thing Capitol Subaru has offered is giving it another one of their superficial wipe downs. I intend to see them in court to make them take back the lemon they sold me. Don't waste your time with them. This dealership is awful!
Terrible dealership!!!! I was in a chain of email for two weeks with someone named "Amelia" who promised me twice to connect me with a salesman, she didn't. While other dealerships respond within hours. Today a popup chat person made an appointment for me for a car which is still in the dealership website, went I went there a guy greated us and couldn't find us in the system, he didn't even offered us to sit except for curtly asking to follow him. The overpriced cars were not up for negotiation, even though other dealers had lower price and negotiate more than a thousand dollar with me. Then he went on to question my knowledge of CPO by equivocation. After showing him other offers, he just said to shop somewhere else. Please do not shop here! Take your business somewhere else. This so-called family-owned business are just your typical, high school dropout, salesman with no integrity.

Zachary Numoto at Capitol Subaru was fantastic through the process of buying an Outback. Very friendly, calm, matter of fact, answered all questions, and a no pressure sales process. We got there a little late like 7PM and we finished around 10.30pm. Zac stayed at the dealership throughout the process, past normal working hours, to assist with the process. Shout out to Ed Chang as well who had to stay back late and worked through the financials and to complete the docs. Thank you Zac and Ed!

Service staff with attitude. She told me they would fit me in for a battery, which they did, but she totally backtracked on what she told me about getting me out fast. I'm an intelligent person so to have 'service' staff deny telling what I know she told me is condescending. From now on when I have to come here, I'll work with the one pleasant guy there
