The process of buying was smooth, but 1 month after I bought the pre-owned 2015 Hyundai Sonata (45k miles), I needed to replace all brakes (for USD 1.4k). Either the Albany Subaru employees knew about the brakes and they did not tell me; or they did not know about the brakes and don't check their cars sufficently before selling them again

bad service, did not put on oil cap after oil and filter change. when call to tell them this . they were very Rude, asking why I waited so long to tell them . then stating , oh yea, your a women. very disrespectful.

I bought a used (certified pre-owned) Forester from Ricky and it was a hassle-free experience. No drama, and I really appreciated how clear and detailed Chris' explanations of all the car's features were. Sometimes you go to buy a car and the people trying to sell it to you can't even answer your simple questions about how it works, and they try to cover up their ignorance by pressuring you more. But Ricky and Chris are the absolute opposite - they obviously drive Subarus and make it a point to be able to explain all the features and options. It was also a huge plus that they were able to spontaneously buy my old vehicle off me for a price I thought was fair. I did not drive away hating them/cursing their business and that's the first car-buying experience where I've been able to say that!

If only I can give NEGATIVE stats... I recently called looking for 2021 Ascent touring and the salesperson (older man) was telling me about a new car in the lot. 10 mins on the call he asked me where I lived and when I told him that I'm from Hollywood he said good luck getting to buy a car in Northern California and HUNG UP on me as I was still speaking. Great job Albany Subaru on losing not only 1 customer but multiple! We planned on buying 2x new car at the same time and would've recommend you to more of our connections for better businesses. Completely going on opposite now!
