Richard, we are so sorry for our team's lack of communication and any frustration that you incurred while during your visit. The frustrations that you endured absolutely should not have happened and this has become a learning experience for our team. Once your vehicle was pulled up it does take a few minutes to process your vehicle and we do try to expedite that process as fast as we can but can take a few minutes to do so. We do, however, understand that after dealing with prior frustrations you did not want to wait any longer than you had to. The Environmental Health & Safety Department (EH&S) conducted a review of the benefits of plexiglass barriers, as well as guidance on prioritizing the installation where there is an increased potential for close contact with others. We have installed those but have also reiterated to our team to wear a mask behind the barrier as well. We do take that seriously and thank you very much for bringing this to our attention. We know that you have already spoken to our assistant manager, Tyler, but he will be reaching out to discuss this further with you. We hope that you give us the opportunity to prove to you that this incident was an anomaly. Just plain awful! Scheduled my vehicles 1st service appointment the prior week, including setting everything up with the vin number. Show up for my scheduled appointment and they cant do the oil change, cause they dont have the oil filter. How do you not have oil filters in stock, or at the very least ordered them for schedule maintenance. They proceed to do the open recall for the software update, which was mentioned to me when the appointment was scheduled. Truck is done and they pull it up. 10 minutes go by and no one comes to get me in the waiting area. I go to the service desk and they go, ohh is that your truck. Yeah, seriously. Then some more time fumbling around trying to find the paperwork and keys. The whole experience completely reeked of incompetence, so much so that I physically popped the hood and checked the oil just to make sure it wasnt empty. Oh and to top it off sign on the doors says mask required, but not a single person in the service department I interacted with that wasnt behind a plastic shield had one on.

We took our 2015 suburban in for an estimate to have the transmission repaired/replaced. We were quoted just under $6,000 for a replacement using a remanufactured transmission with a 5 year warranty. We ended up having a reputable transmission shop do the same work with a comparable remanufactured unit with the same 5 year warranty for just under $3000. We expected the dealership to be slightly higher due to specializing in their own vehicles but more than twice the price seems unreasonable. No hard feelings, I just would warn anyone wanting to use this shop for anything other than warranty covered repairs to shop around for pricing.

The sunroof motor stopped working so I went to Coastal to repair or replace it. I was told it would cost $735. The part only cost $125. What nut would charge $600 labor?Went to a local body shop and they said it could be replaced for $200 in labor. Guess Coastal wants to throw business elsewhere.
