Mathew, This is certainly not the way we do business. I reviewed your Repair Order with the Service Manager, and the notes clearly state your pad thickness is healthy. Your pads measured at 8mm in the front and rear. The concerns noted on the inspection were in regard to the state of your rotors, which are warped and would be below specification if machined. We recommended replacing your rotors to ensure a flat braking surface. In further protect your new rotors we believe you may consider replacing your pads again at that time, to ensure a flat braking surface, and that the new rotors are not damaged by improperly worn brake pads. In the interest of ensuring your brakes are 100% safe for the road, I would like to offer you a complimentary Brake Inspection at our expense to ensure your vehicle is safe to drive. Talk about a complete rip off, after having my explorer looked at and having the service department explain to me that I have less than 2mm left in my brakes and my rotors need to be replaced (approx. 1,200 bill) I said no and I'll rescheduled at another time. After having a different mechanic take a look and seeing that I had more than 4mm left and all rotors where in good condition, needles to say I did not need brakes or rotors. It would have been a complete rip off and I would have been out 1,200. I will not be returning to Putnam ford ever again!.... I wanted to edit this and say I finally had my rotors and brake replaced on 11/14/19.

Horrible, dishonest, experience Ive ever had at a dealership. After hitting my credit 6 times they sold the truck out from underneath me without offering any other options. Never deal with them unless thats the way you roll. Its not me at all. Felt humiliated and low on the priority list.

I purchased a used f150 from the guys at for they were very kind. I picked up my truck and afther a couple of days the truck started to have a play on the transmition, when ever I will stop and go you can feel the trasmition jerking. I also open the glove compartment to see the manual and I came across I paper from the day that ford took the truck as a trade from the previous owner. Ford wrote trani has some play and jerks a little when going. So I brought the truck back to the people at Putnam ford. They said there is nothing wrong with this truck. The guy said to me " listen even if the truck is not working right, you have the extended warranty". Yes I paid for the extended warranty 3000 dollars extra but not for after a week I picked up the truck. SO DO NOT BUY CARS OR TRUCKS HERE, THEY WILL SELL YOU BROKEN CARS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT THE CUSTOMERS.
