We purchased a used truck here and chose to buy from a dealer thinking that the vehicle would be a quality vehicle. I have always believed that a dealer would not sell vehicles that were not up to certain standards since they perform their 125 point inspection and fix problems they find. The buying experience was easy enough and they did work with us on the price, not a lot of back and forth. The problem is that two days after buying the truck the four wheel drive kept trying to engage on its own while driving making a loud clunking noise and also making the rear wheels hop around corners. We did not use the four wheel drive or do anything that would create the four wheel drive to get damaged, we only drove it home and to the store for errands. Also fuel began leaking and would leave a large puddle on the ground over night. I called my sales man and he passed me over to the manager where he told me I bought a used vehicle as is and they are not responsible for the repairs, but they would look at it for one hour for free, after they looked at it they agreed to fix the two issues but I would have to pay $700.00 for parts. We should not have to pay for their mistakes and I believe they do not perform a thorough inspection or intentionally overlooked it. They did keep moving the truck to different locations in the parking lot while we were looking at it, maybe because they knew it was leaking fuel. This Autonation is no different than a small sub car lot, when it comes to buying a used car I would stay away from an Autonation owned dealer.
We went to Roseville Auto Mall with the intent to purchase either a Jeep Grand Cherokee or a VW Touareg. We started at Jeep. Our salesman was Bill. I am not sure if he was having a bad day or just did not believe we had the financial means to buy the vehicle but he was very detached, unfriendly, almost to the point of rude. Actually, during the test drive, it definitely bordered on rude. My husband and I were being very friendly and asking him questions and he did not attempt to even start conversation with us - he never even asked what we do for a living. We sat in silence for half the test drive after my husband and I got tired of being the only ones to try and make conversation. If the experience with him had been more pleasant we may have considered the vehicle further, but the VW salesman was friendly and helpful to us - and we left there with a brand new Touareg.
Jeremy Coffelt was great!! Very happy with deal and his selling style. I bought a 2014 Jeep Wrangler and I got an amazing price on the Jeep and on my trade in. Best experience I have ever had buying a car!!! Jeremy was the best.
Phil Gibson was the internet sales rep for Roseville autonation. When we first met he promised a honest no hassle experience and that was exactly what he delivered. Pleasure to work with and very Professional. There was not a grand cherokee available with the options we wanted, so instead of pressure to buy up, he helped us order exactly what we wanted. Kept his word and sealed the deal with a handshake not a check. Car came in from the factory as desired at the handshake price. Great Experience!!
Horrific experience!!!!! The internet sales person Rebecca couldn't be more unprofessional. The manager kept making excuses for her because she is going to school. She was negligent in her responsibilities and it makes me wonder what is going on between the manager and her. I spent 22 hours total getting my new Cherokee. I will never buy or recommend this dealership for anything. The final straw was that they did not want to let me take a substitute vehicle until they got the non operational Uconnect that controls many safety items such as parking break, lights, etc. The reason was they didn't want to have to clean up after my service dog "dog hairs". The the manager tells me not to be so sensitive. Well my man, don't be so sensitive after you read this. Your dealership is the worst of the worst.
