That purchase has nothing to do with this location. That is a different business altogether. Sorry to hear about your experience. When purchasing old Muscle cars and other vintage vehicles, it's possible to have some issues. This is not Mecum and any issues should be taken through the auction.

Purchased an auto in a Mecum Auction 1/2013 sold by Jerry's. I called the manager to ask about car after I purchased it, and he said Jerry would call back.never did despite a couple of trys. Car was very poorly prepped for sale--outward appearance great , but: only a cup or so of molasses type fluid in differential, front end components all had to be replaced, generator failed, taken apart and was found to be jury (Jerry) rigged--brushes were siliconed in, armature was held in by silicone and small metal plates. Radio not working. Air conditioner leaking. Was an expensive car and should have been set up for sale much better than it was. So, I would not buy from this outfit in future.Plus no one would return call .
15 years ago when I came home from iraq I needed a vehicle and I got in touch with Craig Wellman......... I have proudly bought every vehicle that Ive owned since from Craig. Not actually how it went down from our position. This went on for well over a month with many many test drives and that's okay. We finally decided we were unable to come to terms with what was expected from us. There had been no issues with that vehicle before or after we brought it back to the Dealership. It has been sold and the new owner had the vehicle inspected by an ASE-certified mechanic, yes there were a few issues. We do expect that there could be some issues with a 135000-mile vehicle. The Mechanic Shop that inspected the vehicle did not have brakes or battery on the list of concerns. We do recommend that a customer(s) take the vehicle to a qualified mechanic and have a second look. We truly hope that your brother has found his next new vehicle and has the best of luck with it. This review, however, is hard it is to take from the point of view of someone who was never involved. My brother (who has a slight learning disability) went to purchase a car from this dealership. He wanted my husband to look it over. When he got to my house my husband discovered the brakes were bad all around. Then the car wouldn't start. We jumped the car and he took it back to the dealership and he told them what my husband found. They said they would replace the battery. My bother wanted to have my other brother check it out to since he was a licensed mechanic. Dealership was mad that he wanted to check the car again but they let him take it. My brother stopped at my house and the car wouldn't start again...they never changed to battery. They came and got the car and then told my brother they were done dealing with HIM like he was the problem. This company was more than willing to sell a car that had a bad battery and bad breaks. I wouldn't deal with this dealership. If I could give no stars I would. Not how you treat a possible customer.
