I have NOTHING good to say about this dealership!! Everytime I leave a message, I am NEVER called back. When I finally got an appointment set up for them to have Chrysler fix a defective paint job, they gave us a loaner with soaking wet seats and had the worst wet dog smell I've ever encountered. All the tires needed air, the car is due for an oil change and the wheel well fender hits the wheel when you turn. So it sounds like the wheel is going to fall off. This vehicle represents what NEMER CJDR IS! I will FOREVER make sure that anyone I talk to, never steps foot in this place. I am truly baffled as to how they are still in business.
When I first walked in the man at the front desk was rude and aggressive, he snapped as soon as he saw I had a promotional flyer. I was then asked to fill out a form which was no issue except there is small print making my signature a authorization to run my credit score. Which some people may or may not realize can negatively impact your credit score. Their sweepstakes mail out was a deceving and manipulative. You pull a tab and if you match any numbers you win, in my case I matched two 2500 tabs side by side. I read the fine print figuring it was to good to be true and sure enough I brought my ticket in and they told me the tiny numbers were not a exact match so I won a 5$ gift card. The misrepresentation was extreme and the way I among I'm sure many others is a poor way to attempt to drum up business. Misleading the public in this way in my opinion is extremely offensive. They have lost a potential customer as well as any and everyone who ever has or ever will ask for a recommendation on where to buy their next car. Coming from a background of advertising as well as automobile sales this interaction I'm sure creates more negative opinions then positive.
Today we went to test drive some Jeep Wranglers that were listed on the dealers webpage. We got to the dealership and the vehicles were inside the showroom. They wanted us to commit to buying to take them out and let us drive them, which we weren't willing to do obviously. There is a $5,000 mark-up right now over sticker that they were hung up on, because of low inventory. I want to let you know that other Jeep dealers in the area are not doing this, particularly Goldstein and Lia. The reason we went to Nemer was because they had a particular feature on one of the vehicles that we wanted. I told the Sales Manager that we would probably order a vehicle that had the feature we wanted, and he said the same $5,000 mark up would occur, due to low inventory. I questioned how they could price gauge on a special order, and he said it's across the board. So, a few other buying options for you, the consumer. Go to another Jeep dealer where they are being fair and transparent with their pricing and not trying to stick it to the buyer. OR, you can also shop right online at the Jeep E-Shop, and have your Jeep delivered to your door, thereby eliminating the need for car dealers, especially the shady ones like Nemer, at all! :)
