my experience at webb chevrolet started off good. they said all the right things and when it came time for the paper work to be signed things were left out. first, i was quoted at a rate of 1.9%, but i later discovered that the rate given was 5.9%. my payment was initially low $400's and then it suddenly ballooned to high $400's. obviously i called to complain that there was a mistake and they related i signed into the gap coverage plan. i never agreed to sign into gap coverage because that is a waste of money. i have purchased brand new cars before and i know that gap coverage is totally unneccessary. anyway, they eventually discontinued the gap coverage because i demanded it be cancelled. then they refused to adjust the minimum payment due each month. a year went by and i chose to refinance because the payment was too high. this is when i discovered the actual rate given to me was not what they told me. this was my fault too because i shouldn't take a salesman's word for it. they lie to get their commissions. not all do, but this one lied to me multiple times. i feel like an idiot because i am responsible for signing the paperwork, but i am writing this review because there were multiple individuals who lied to me. on another note, one of the salesman hit on my wife even after she told him she was married. i would never go back to webb chevrolet in oak lawn and i just want everyone to be aware of my first and last experience with them.

It was very pleasant experience my salesperson was very straight forward and I never felt like he was taking advantage of me. It was the first time as a woman buyer I didn't feel like it was all about the sale it was more about me being satisfied with my decision and the atmosphere was very pleasant as well the renovations are really nice...Thanks Webb dealership and my salesperson John.

I was in the market for a new car and was looking at a Chevy - as this dealership was near my work, I decided to stop in and take a look at the car. I didn't have a lot of time, so I just asked some questions, got some pricing and made an appt to come back on another day to take a test drive. When I arrived on that 2nd date, my salesperson was too busy closing another deal to take care of me. He left me waiting for over half an hour to take a test drive only to find out they didn't have the trim line I was interested in available for a test drive! I left and went to another dealership only to be called back the next day by a manager saying I had missed my appointment. I corrected the manager and agreed to take time again to stop in and work some numbers. They still didn't have the trim line I was interested in, didn't have the colour I wanted and were trying to push a lower trim line with aftermarket customisation at the price I wanted to be at. I left feeling like I had wasted more time for a high pressure sale that wasn't what I wanted.
