Joe I have had 14 years of experience in this field I pride myself on excellent customer service. I submitted your paperwork on 3/20 /2019. Three weeks later you called asking if anything came back. It had not. I said please give it two more weeks as PennDOT can take 6 to 8 weeks to process antique tag applications. You phoned us back on 5/7/2019. We called PennDOT that day, 5/7/2019 and were informed that original tag agency where you went to get initial title work done had their check bounce for your deal on October 5th, 2018. PennDOT claims that you were notified. We called you back on 5/7/2019, the same day, and told you what you needed to clear up this matter before PennDOT would release any registration we were trying to obtain for you. We again called you on 5/29/2019 and left a message for an update and you did not respond. It was finally cleared up on 7/25/2019. We resubmitted your work and copies of the cancelled checks we had written for your deal on August 1st, 2019 only to have it rejected back to us on 8/19/2019 due to an error on my part for not submitting enough money. This was my error and I apologized many times to you for this. I called you 8/19/2019 to let you know what had happened and told you I was resubmitting the paperwork with the correct amount due. You told me not to as you were going to drive to PennDOT to resolve the issue yourself. At that point I told you it was critical to stop into our office so that I could give you the paperwork I was ready to submit with cancelled checks to make sure you were not charged double. I stayed until 8 pm that night and you never came. We sent your work the next day via our messenger. When you called us on 11/9/2019 with another non related issue you were having, you mentioned you wanted all your fees back for the antique deal. I told you on 11/9/2019 I would file a refund request for you but was told by PennDOT they sent you a reimbursement check already on 10/27/2019 that you did not mention to us! I called you back to let you know this and again I apologized to you for my error which caused a 2-week delay in processing which I take full responsibility for. I explained I could not refund your state money as PennDOT had cashed our check we sent up on your behalf which is why we originally stated it was critical for you to come into our office before going to PennDOT. I tried to explain this to you many times. You would speak over me and not give me a chance to finish any sentences. This went on for quite some time before I said to you that I had to let you go and ended the call. There was no hanging up on you multiple times as you stated in your review. For the service that we gave you considering the original fraudulent check from the first tag agency you went to, waiting for you to clear up the situation with the fraudulent check, trying to get updates from you which you did not respond too, and the hours spent on the phone with PennDOT and you trying to help you, I feel confident in saying that a $30 service fee is appropriate for time and best effort and will not be refunded by our Agency.

The people at this establishment have no clue what they are doing. One of the ladies filed my registration improperly then after giving me the run around for nearly 6 months, then she had the audacity to blame me for her mistake, and when a refund was requested THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK for services that i never received. I paid for my registration through 309 Auto Tags and i never even got it from them, i had to drive 2.5 hours away to harrisburg to get my plate, and this was after i had already paid 309 Auto Tags 6 months prior, then i paid again at PennDot since 309 Auto Tags was incapable of completing this simple service. Additionally, the managers have poor customer service skills and were actually hanging up on me multiple times because i was asking to get the money that they STOLE from me. They claim money was submitted to penndot and that is the reason they cannot refund, and she told me that penndot was sending me a check, neither of which are true. After multiple conversations with penndot, the representative told me that the title/tags agency is completely responsible for any and all refunds since they were the ones that wrote the check to penndot. Do not use this business, THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY, then blame you.

Nick we are sorry for the negative experience when you called last night. The staff who took your call was in training and to avoid not giving out incorrect information the call was passed to me. As you can imagine, with having 10 years vehicle title and registration experience sometimes I provide customers with information that is contrary to what they hear from other sources. In your case you mentioned that someone told you that since you were purchasing a vehicle titled in Delaware (a State with no sales tax) you as a Penna resident would be exempt from paying sales tax for the purchase. I stated that I was sorry that someone gave you that incorrect information and went on to explain that regardless of the title state origination, sales tax is due at point of purchase /title transfer unless you have specific Penna tax exemption. After that I could sense your frustration as we went back and forth on that point and although you talked over me, I calmly repeated the need for payment of Pa sales tax. Our office takes hundreds of calls each week and we always try to empathize with customers , particularly when providing information that they disagree with or were told incorrectly, but in NO WAY EVER would I or any of our Staff accuse anyone of trying to avoid paying sales tax. Additionally, the call did not end with you being hung up on as you stated in your review, rather you said thank you to me and I responded thanks and have a good night at the end of the call.

I called them to ask a couple questions about transferring a title that is in a PA title . Since the title was a Delaware state title I assumed that I wouldnt have to pay sales tax. I asked the question ahead of time to make sure I would come with the right amount of money if need be. They were very rude and accuse me of not trying to pay sales tax and made it very difficult me to ask questions because Im very new to these kinda of processs. I think them for their time and patience and they did not say a word they just hung up on me. I have multiple family members who own businesses who were present at the time of the phone call and they all said that this was unprofessional
