Thank you for taking the time to provide us with your feedback. We are very sorry that the vehicle you were interested in sold before you made it to our store. However, we did provide you with an opportunity to place a deposit on the vehicle and take it off the market before the other customer placed their deposit. While we never want one of our customers to have this experience, the shortage of vehicles available for sale has, unfortunately, increased the chances of something like this happening. Once we realized that you were planning on coming in on the vehicle we had taken the deposit on, we alerted you as quickly as possible. Again, we are very sorry for your experience and we would hope that you might put this unfortunate situation behind you and consider doing business with us in the future. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please feel free to reach out to our General Manager, Matt Stephens, or our Vice President, Ross Ball, at (660) 882-5688. - The Rick Ball Chevrolet Team

Absolutely the worst customer service ever. I had an appointment to buy a car (they knew I wanted to actually buy it). I drove 45 minutes just for them to call me when I was only 2 minutes away to tell me they took a down payment THE PREVOUIS DAY. I understand they are there to sell vehicles, but they could have emailed me, texted me, called me to let me know. But instead they had the audacity to call me the next day, when I'm about to pull in, to tell me it's not available. I will never try to come back, because who knows if they will follow through.
On 12/11/2019, I had my transmission on my 2012 Chevrolet Traverse rebuilt in Maryland for $3200. On 12/27/2019, while in Missouri, the transmission had problems. On 12/28/2019, my brother-in-law suggested I take my vehicle to Rick Ball Chevrolet; as he recently purchased a $60K truck from there and was extremely supportive of the dealerships reputation. I dropped the Traverse off with Ronald at Rick Ball Chevrolet; he stated he would diagnose the problem that day (28 December). Later that evening he stated it was the transmission and a tech would have to take it apart to see to what degree the problem was. Days later went by with little to no progress; David (Service Manager) stated he only had 3 techs and the main Tech was out sick. David stated that sense the main tech started taking it apart, he didnt want another Tech to have to start from the beginning. This vehicle was at Rick Ball Chevrolet for 9-10 days before any real progress was made. On 1/6/2020, Ronald finally had the Traverse fully diagnosed and gave me two options Option 1) Purchase a new transmission (and labor) for approximately $5700 or Option 2) Purchase a Used transmission and labor for $2700. I agreed to the $2700 used transmission. Transmission arrived the next day on January 7th or 8th and was installed. I paid $2743.43 on 8 January 2020 to Rick Ball Chevrolet ($1470 Labor, $1148.47 parts and remaining balance was shop supplies and tax). Two days later the transmission messes up again. I contacted Rick Ball Dealership and they stated there is nothing they can/will do. I took the vehicle to ProLink and they confirmed Rick Ball did not "Flush" the transmission and they broke the hydraulic mount. GM Matt Stevens later agreed to reimburse me $250 for denying me a warranty that the parts dealer offered. He stated there were 3 mounts broke when they got the car; however admitted he never made any mention about the mounts on the ticket or verbally and let my family drive 1000 miles to Maryland with these issue. These Folks at Rick Ball Chevrolet lack knowledge and integrity. Do NOT take your vehicle to them for service. It took nearly 2 weeks for them to diagnose my transmission issues and get it back on the road. Thank God for ProLink Auto in Maryland for fixing Rick Ball Chevrolet's errors. These Folks are crooks; take your vehicle to a dealer with integrity. General Manager Matt Stevens and Rick Ball should be ashamed of this level of dishonesty.
I had a long distance buy (from MD) on a particular car (TourX), which included a trade-in. I didn't think all that at the right price dealing remotely would work, but Rick Evans at the dealer was clear and easy to deal with and we wrapped up a deal in no time when others couldn't or wouldn't. I wouldn't recommend driving this great of a distance for a new car, but I sure would recommend the dealer and particularly Rick there. He made this go easy - many thanks!

Bought a 2017 Hyundai Sonata two months ago from Rick Ball. I just picked up my car from the repair shop. The paint on the hood of the car peeled off. When I went into work the hood looked great, after work and a day of rain there was a place about the size of a softball where the paint had peeled off. I took it to get an estimate on what it would cost to have it repaired, they would have to paint the whole hood. They could see where someone tried to repair the spot before. Not exactly what you want to spend your money on when you've only had the car two months.
