Terrible place, I expected better to say the least. They have a variety of fighting methods available but no actual expertise is expressed in those classes, except for probably jiu-jitsu. They overcharge, and you need to put a down payment, for some reason which is beyond me. Nothing bad to say about Professor Crane, he was respectful, unlike his assistant Lance, who was pushy when signing up and I personally felt uncomfortable towards the end. Don't go here unless you plan to train for Jiu-jitsu and be ready for the overpriced monthly payments. All the other reviews are bullshit by the way.

Coach Dan does not have the proper attitude to teach young children and teens jujitsu. My children trained here for over 2 years and had a fantastic experience until he took over these classes. Many left here before us because of him and we saw signs of his demeaning attitude toward some but then it happened to us. He instigated an argument with my wife, was totally impatient and got confrontational rather than instructional when she asked a question. When we told the office about this, Alberto's wife asked Dan about it and he was not honest. So faced with this, we left there never to return. I am so sad for my boys who worked hard there, they didn't care about that. They didn't care to fix the issue and proved that it was all about the contract and money rather than our time and investment in the program and the community. Alberto is a great guy but he is losing lifetime students and family because of this employment choice.

Had an amazing experience here as our first drop in for the LA open. Coming from TN, they welcomed us with open arms. The instructors were amazing and helpful. This studio will definitely be our first stop when were in the area.
