Absolutely incompetent. Makes things up that he can't substantiate.
Dear Mr. Moskal, First of all, you did not get scammed. Per your request, we diagnosed front wheel noise - which turned out to be the front wheel bearings. We also changed the engine oil, performed transmission service, performed the wheel alignment and installed 4 Michelin tires. As you can see, a lot more was done than just replacing the front wheel bearings for the total amount of $1462.03 on May 1st of 2014. The bearings that we installed were OEM Ford parts (we do have receipts to prove that), as there are no good aftermarket substitutes available. Without replacing those bearings, we would NOT be able to make the noise go away, since you CAN NOT repack this type of bearing (press in). If you would have come back to us within a year with the problem, we would have done the repair, including the labor, free of charge. That is the kind of warranty we provide. The fact that you had to replace the hubs is due to your continued use of the vehicle with worn out bearings. We would appreciate if you would retract your post, as we performed all the repairs that you requested and paid us to do so. As for the matter of your roof rack, we do have ceilings high enough where we can lift much taller trucks than the Ford Transit Connect. Therefore, it would be impossible to raise your vehicle high enough to bend those racks. Once again, I hope you reconsider correcting your post as we strive to have the best possible customer experience at our repair facility. Sincerely, Elk Grove Automotive

I do not understand why they have such a good review. I have been schemed there for over $1400.00. I paid for front bearing replacement among other things in May of last year, few months later same noise appears. I let it go for couple of months and finally took it to local ford dealer. Yea... the bearings ware shot completely and still original, so what they did is packed it with lots of new grease and charged me for new bearings. Now it cost me even more because I drove the car on bad bearings for such a long time the wheel hubs had to be replaced too. Oh.. and one more thing after I picked up my work truck from them I found band leader rack and roof of the truck apparently they raised the truck to high and hit the leader racks with something. When I called the owner told me it was not possible and shrugged me off. Stay away from those crooks.
