I have only purchased their deserts! I have tried the lemon bar-AMAZING, peanut butter cookie-YUMMY, Oatmeal Scotties- TOO SWEET, red velvet cake - OKAY. Unfortunately, today I purchased a very small, dry, hard as a rock, I need a knife to cut it...red velvet cupcake. They must have baked these yesterday and put them in the refrigerator, because it is severely dehydrated and cost me $3. Super overpriced for a $1 cupcake.
Hi Vada, Thanks for coming into the BDP Canteen. We're sorry we're not hitting the mark for you every time with price and satisfaction, but we're glad to know you enjoy the desserts. Let us know when you're back in and we'll treat you to something :) -hmc

Desserts really fantastic, lunches hit or miss and pricey. Coffee is not good, tastes very watery and like old grounds are used.
Thank you, Brad! We're happy to hear your rehearsal dinner went well and we appreciate you taking the time to write about it. - hmc

This place rocks with quality food/drink and CUSTOMER SERVICE. Chelsey was wonderful and paid attention to our requests. She was organized and knowlegable about what they can do, what we want and how it will all workout with our schedule. With 30 people at a rehearsal dinner in their "canteen", it was great! the food was out of sight, as the hosts, my wife and i got rave reviews all night AND at the wedding the next day about the great staff, delicious food and sweet drinks. the free parking lot also was a nice feature of this place. Highly recommend hosting your small gathering there anytime of the year. and a good value for the food and drink.
This has been a difficult time for the wedding industry and clients alike, and we're sorry that in this case we were unable to find a new wedding date that satisfied everyone. However, we did offer this client 150 dates in 2022 (five entire months) for which there would be no rescheduling fees at all, which they were not interested in considering. From the time COVID-19 brought our business to a halt in March 2020 to slowly reopening in June 2020 to now, we have adhered to the strictest COVID protocols for our staff, our clients, their guests, and our events. We wish them well.

I do not recommend doing business with this company. After making the difficult decision to postpone our 2021 wedding due to the pandemic, we reached out to BDP to try to work with them to reschedule our event. Per the contract we signed, and our empathy for wedding vendors during this time, we understood that there would be a fee associated with rescheduling. After first being dismissed, that our worries about the pandemic affecting our wedding were unfounded, we were told that in order to keep a Saturday date in a prime month (like we had originally scheduled) the rescheduling fee would be an overwhelming 50% of our total cost - an additional $8,000. In addition, there would be a unilateral price increase of 12% to food and beverage costs for all 2022 dates. In order to stay anywhere near our original budget, we would have to completely replan the wedding to a weekday in the winter. We were forced to choose between losing our deposit of over $3k, or losing an additional $8k+. We can't help but feel like BDP is taking advantage of the pandemic by forcing us to forfeit what we have already paid because we can't afford to pay their unreasonable fees. Our other vendors have been grateful and understanding that we are prioritizing the safety of their staff and our guests and we have been happy to pay reasonable fees to keep up with their 2022 rates. BDP clearly does not share those values nor that respect for their clients. Edit: The "150 dates" that were available without a rebooking fee (but still with a 12% price increase) were mostly weekdays, in the winter - months during which the locally grown food from the urban farm, a large draw for this company, would be unavailable.
